World Cup Patch Working in XP!

if you right click on the file once downloaded and goto properties, there is a tab called compatibillity....select it to run in windows 98 compatibillity mode! it should work then

***NOTE***
I cannot be certain about this cos i have not been able to download the World Cup Patch.....(bugger!)

Can people tell me if this has worked or not? Thanks!

I think that the problem is because Win XP does not have the choice.com file . This file is used for *.bat files where you have to make a choice .
I had a similar prolem with NHL 2002 where I could not use add ons that had a choice to make .
But when I got the choice.com ( get it from a machine that has win 98 or win ME isntalled ) and copied it to the windows\system 32 everything worked o.k .
Maybe this is the solution ?
