XP -> FIFA 2003 doesn't start

I moved from WinME to Xp and now FIFA 2003 doesn't start, after starting i only see the Welcome-Screen , and then i'm back at the desktop.
I use the newest Driver of my nVidia GForce2 GTS and the newest DirectX 9.0a and also i have installed XP Service Pack 1.
Please help me , my son is very angry !!!
