Rivaldo is useless on my team. I've tried a number of posistions ranging from LF, OMF and LM, he just wants to play crap. No other team wants to buy him but i don't want to let him go free because then i've wasted a lot of points! If he doesn't start performing in the last 5 matches of the season he's out.

I got both. But I gotta agree with Liam, Ravoldi so far is performing and making a big impact on my offense, so he's been worth it for me. We'll see how Riquelme performs. I got Ravoldi, Riquelme and Pires to play around with at OMF.

CF: Olisadebe, I'll pay him anything he wants come renegotiation. Class act and one of the best bargains in football IMO.

Remaining players I'm looking to sell to raise Keane's transfer points include Babaginda (big disappointment), Wiltford (performs occassionally) and Dalcorso (don't need to use him).

All this costs me only some 260 pts per game.

note: finished 8th place last season ...overhauled midfield... my forwards are as reliable as myself in a soccer match...crespo, kluivert, kallon, and pizzaro are the some of the best i've played with (henry is great as well...sold him to barca)...currently in 4th place behind newcastle...advanced to 1/4 finals going up against Juventus (grreat opponent to test my limits)...o wells... bbL

Are any of you guys playing on 5* mode? Because some of the players you mention i.e. Nesta, Toefting, Henry are very very hard to get on your team even when in Div 1 and offering 999 pts a season for 5 seasons!!! Maybe its just me but I have a very hard time getting " the best" for my team. I am currently on season 6 in 5* mode in Div 1.

I pay through the nose for players I really want -- but transfer points rather than high salaries. If you haven't already, try increasing the transfer points you're offering and get those 999 pt salaries down. The highest salary I've paid is 799 for Vieri, who I've just sold.

Seperate question for all: Need a LW striker for my 4-3-3 formation. Is Lopez my man?
