The following should work on all versions of CM3 and not just Season : 01/02.
1- Load windows explorer, and open the CM data directory
2- Within this directory you'll see small.t2k, medium.t2k and large.t2k - these are the Futuristic fonts used within the game.
3- To add your own large font (for example verdana), you would need to copy the verdana.ttf file into the CM data directory and rename it to be large.ttf (if you wanted verdana to be the small font call it small.ttf etc)
4- This process of copying and renaming can be used for any font you like, the only restriction is that you rename them to small, medium or large, that they have a .ttf extension and that they are in the CM data directory.
5- To see your changes, load up the game and ensure you are playing in futuristic mode.
