I was just wondering what your parents think about your music......my dad doesn't give a f**k basically, he doesn't like it, but my mom........well..........i played some SOAD and Metallica and QOTSA for her and she likes it!


One day i came home from school, and she was ironing clothes in my room and listening to Metallica in the background!??! hehehe...

my mum doesn't give a toss, and anyway most the year i'm live away in London. It's only Xmas, Easter vacations i go home.

Well, my parents had to put up with 6 years of weekly rehearsals of my band, so... It's not like they had much of a choice.

Well it has been a good 8 years or so since I lived at home, but when i did they didn't mind what I played to much so long as it didn't drown out everything else. They could handle Guns n' Roses and soft stuff like that, but didn't much like Metallica (the pre-1990 version) or Megadeth. Actually, with what I put them through, I think they would probably see SOAD as pretty easy listening! What they really hated was the r & b and top 40 stuff my siblings listened to, so my folks weren't all that bad really

my mom doesn't give a ****... as for my dad...he likes Snoop, Nelly , Ludacris etc etc etc.....and he denies it when i ask him.....but whenever i use the car after he does, i find my hip-hop cds in the player

My Mum hates everything, my Dad hates my metal but loves all the acid jazz and funk I listen to..he was pissed at me cos I wouldn't let him come and see Llorca and Jamiroquai with me and my mates..lol..

He especially hates Arch Enemy cos everytime I listen to it I make sure I tell him the singer is a girl..he listens more carefully for about 3 seconds then goes..'She must have balls.' BTW Metal lovers should d/l Arch Enemy's song 'Ravenous' then see if you can believe the singer is actually a hot chick named Angela Gossow..

I lisen to it in the car sometimes my mum turns it off because of the swearing etc but my dad doesn't really mind

My mums likes my albums are : Barry White (he is wicked)
Dido (good looking, good singer), what more do you want?
I want to get an elvis album also, he is quite good

i listen to a lot of punk rock and grunge..and my parents dont give a f1ck.. i really dont know though..never talked about it,and im not sure if they know i listen to that music.. i would never let my parents hear any of my music..especially if it has swearing and stuff.. i'd be embarrassed..

My dad is constantly pirating my CDs cause he likes my music...

My Mom is backwards and only listens to Gospel music... well Unless she is dancing and then she listens to all kinds of latin beats (Prof. dancer) She only like my music if she can dance to it.
