I think FIFA were spot on by choosing Zidane...
He played a Huge part in France's Euro 2000 win,
He's a more complete player and i think Fifa made sense with their selection.

this fifa election is made to judge between all the games in the season, not only 5 or 6 games of Euro 2000... Figo this year was far better than Zidane. The success in the spanish league, helped Portugal to reach the semi final in the euro 2000, that he had won if it wasnt for the ref, he is the most expensive player in the world.. one of the best payed... well what i mean is, what's in cause here, is not who is really the better, but who played better over this past season.. and that, was Luis Filipe Madeira Figo, wether you like it or not.

well i am here only about 4 months and i am close to that, cause my first nick was f and had about 500 posts, than i changed my nick to CANADIAN for some stupid reasons which u don't want to know, and i had about 300 posts, than i became galatasaray and had about 250 posts, and now i am back to bieng CANADIAN_10.
