We got 1 home game left against Chile, 2 away to Uruguay and Paraguay.... 4th and 5th place are still up for grabs........

definately, Reynaldo has won 19pts with Colombia, we have 20pts, Maturana in 4 games only tied one game for 1 point!

4th is going to be hard, if paraguay wins tonight, 5th could be more accessible, we still need to play like this in all games.

Damn, i sure do hope we don't play Columbia, i'd rather Australia play Chile or Uruguay, i'd be cancelling my WC tickets if Columbia finish 5th.

I think thats exactly what Farrina (Aussie coach) said right before the last Uruguay/Australia series/war.

IMO Australia would fair well enough at home vs. any of these 3 south american powers.......but playing away?
I'd be surprised if Chile scores less than 6 goals in the Estadio Olimpico......Aussies just have no experience playing in REAL (I mean REAL= 90,000 extremely proud and pissed off fans who are itching to tear the visiting team apart if they even think about scoring <Includes fans throwing stuff to players, refs afraid to make calls, stadium literally about to fall apart from the extreme jumping/singing/flairs/bombs.......................Gotta love south America :).)

I'd bet my life that Aussie wont make the WC (they will prob make it in 2010 playing in Asia tho)

don't get ahead of me now, yes we won 6/6 points this round, but we need 6/7 out of the next 9! that's going to be hard.

Amen that. I always try to imagine results in a way that, in the end, they finish at least 6th.

I think they'll have greater chances of qualifying playing in Asia too.

I'd like to see this with our squad, but I really doubt it'll happen

Code:
[size=3]
           Abbondanzieri
     Coloccini Ayala Heinze
   Cambiasso Mascherano
L.Gonzalez D'Alessandro
             Riquelme
        Saviola Figueroa

[/size]

I bet our players will lack motivation and we don't win this

i want to see Chile not being owned by Brazil, but i doubt that will happen :(

but i guess it's a win-win situation, because i could see:

a. Chile getting a point or "just" a 1-0 defeat
OR
b. Robinho-Ronaldo scoring a lot of goals (6)

btw, pretty ****ty Argentina squad. Where's Aimar??? Samuel and Solari getting axed after their move to Inter :chew:
