Run the football?? With Randy Moss you have got to be kidding me. If the Raiders end up running it that means the Pats shut down Randy Moss and Oakland loses....
Oh don't worry we'll throw the ball, with the receivers we've got there's no doubt we'll throw. The thing is that you can't be one-dimensional against that defense, you need a balanced attack if you're going to have a chance. With Norv Turner's offense, you always need a good ground game to be really effective with the pass especially downfield. If we can establish the running game, bombs away for Moss & Co.

Just look at what Indy did opening game last season, they nearly won that game because their offense was balanced, it was nearly 50-50 with running and passing plays and the only reason they lost was because Edge kept on coughing up the ball in critical situations. There, that's my rant about why we need to run. :p

The Rolling Stones? Nice....

No disrespect I like their music but they are over 1000 years old when you add up their ages! :p

10 minutes untill the Raider vs. Patriots game...

Let it be a healthy 2005-2006 NFL season.

If Tom Brady does it again (really really doubt it) he's better than Montana, period.

OFF TOPIC: How do I make my avatar come back?

Meh, didn't do as bad as I thought we'd do. Penalties really fucked us up (as they always do) and that turnover where Wilfork got the ball in the air pretty much sealed it. Well, we've got the Chiefs next week, hopefully we can win that one because if we don't we'll probably start out 0-3 (we've gotta go to Philly after the KC game).

yeah i was actually impressed with the Raiders, i thought they'd get mauled but they kept it totally respectable, as you said the fumble/interception of Collins i suppose was the real blow and you never recovered, good opening game.

By the way i couldnt be arsed to stay up until 2am to watch the match :D i watched the repeat at 8.30am this morning instead, i love Sky. lol

TROD.

Nice to see Randy Moss having a good game, but really ? Except for the Raider Nation, who though Oakland had a shot at winning the game in NE ?

Not me at least, although i wanted the raiders to win, tho.

Anyway, this sunday football will begin again in all the country, good luck to your respecting teams, unless they are in the AFC east :ewan:

man either the receiver's don't know how to run their routes, or collins has the worst depth perception i've ever seen. i know NE has a great defense but man, it felt like he was just throwing the ball at times without ever knowing where the hell it was gonna land. he was outta rhythm the whole game. every drive felt uncomfortable because i was expecting him to get sacked or throw a hail mary :(

Yeah I felt the exact same way.

PS: does anyone remember that play where Moss almost caught a TD while under triple coverage :|
