Pede will be here. He always took defeat like a man, not that he has been experiencing many in the recent past. He´s a nice person, don´t know why he gets so much abuse.

I think its mostly because he supports Chelsea...as you can see by this thread most people hate Chelsea so they will also dislike him aswell otherwise he does not deserve the abuse that he usually gets.

Mourinho hits out after red card

Mourinho was furious after Asier del Horno's red card
Jose Mourinho pointed an accusing finger at Barcelona's Lionel Messi after Asier del Horno was sent off in Chelsea's Champion League defeat.

Mourinho said after 10-man Chelsea lost 2-1: "It was not a red card. The kid Messi is not just a very good footballer. He is more than that.

"He jumps and he provoked the contact with Del Horno, who is then sent off.

"I don't think I can talk about the game after that it was not a proper game, but I'm proud of my players."

Mourinho added: "When it was 11 against 11 it was a very good game with two teams thinking tactically, with not many mistakes and not many chances.

"I am not annoyed with Del Horno. He came in to cover for a tackle, he goes for the ball but doesn't touch the ball.

"Messi jumps on him and then rolls and rolls and rolls, so I don't want to say too much more except I am proud of my team."

That's a crock. TBB's a Chelsea fan, yet he's nearly beloved at SG. Rob doesn't get hurled any abuse either, despite being a prick at times.

I dont think Rob is liked by any more than Pede is. TBB is pretty nice to everyone...well expect for Arsenal fans, i dont think they quite like him.:p

Really though Pede does get a lot of undeserved abuse.

So DT/Barca supporters when are you guys going to put that sig up for the Chelsea fans??

To be honest Pede, these 'Chelsea haters' announce themselves when fans such as yourself complain about things that Chelsea are themselves guilty of most of the time. Your comment about Messi 'trying to get players sent off', aren't Arjen Robbens antics fresh in the memory? Why even try and use that as a complaint? This statement above also covers the comment 'why do players with such talent need to play-act.'

And not forgetting that Jose Mourinho, whilst at Porto, created a team of disgraceful cheats that fouled, dived and cryed there way to UEFA cup and Champions League wins. The reason why no-one watches Portugese football is due to this, and he has brought these 'traits' to this Chelsea team. Asier Del Horno looked as if he had been snipered, just like Essien did to worm himself out of punishment.

I'm just trying to show why there are Chelsea haters about, and provide facts without being a tw*t or just argueing. Barca were brilliant and even with 11 men looked more of a threat.

Good luck in the 2nd Leg, if anyone can do it Chelsea can, but its going to be unsurmountable in my opinion.

P.S - Your manager does you no favours 'warning' about simulation from the Barca players.. Pot Kettle and Black are the words springing to my mind.

I don't think it's worth answering some things that simply don't make any sense.

Oh i dont mind the abuse really. I get it because...a) i'm a bit confrontational and that brings out the juvenile in some ppl......b) I am not diplomatic as a rule, and i say what i mean. Sometimes i even mean what I say. c) I'm a Chelsea fan who has the club running through my viens. My passion for Chelsea is unbridled and runs deeply.
Real fans who feel the same way about their clubs, at least identify with that and dont give me as much stick as the glory hunters actually. You see its the glory hunters who feel that they have something to prove.Thats why they are more vocal than other fans often are. Well i can live with that because glory hunters have nothing to say that means s.hit to me.
And as many ppl will testify, away from the football threads, i am actually a very nice, calm and reasonable bloke, who has made some good friends on these forums, whatever clubs they support. So, a few thicko's here and there dont bother me at all.In fact they stimulate me and make me smile.
I think some ppl take all this forum stuff waaaaaaay to seriously. Lifes too short, enjoy it........ :ewan:

Spike.....i do have the right to those comments man, because if you read my posts in the "Robben "thread , you will see that i called him a disgrace too.I also said that if Jose wants to bring those kinda tactics to Chelsea, then he too can f.u.c.k off tommorow. I actually said that and that why my comments are not hypocritical. Is it better that i say " Deco and messi are divers but thats ok because Robben does a bit of playacting too sometimes and oh yeah thats ok because when Jose managed Porto blah blah blah blah blah blah"
Those things i have already said and its clear how i feel about cheats whatever team they play for including mine. A hypocrite i am not,and by now you should know that.

It´s funny that pede gets this kind of abuse when there ppl who act far worse than him. Just look at Tracertong, he wanders around writing provocative bits with no real intention of having a decent football discussion. Pede may be a little bias (everyone is bias towards their team) but at least he contributes with something relevant for the forum, Chelsea related, Kits related etc etc, but oh well everyone has opinions

I think this clearly shows why many people hate Chelsea's style. Jose Mourinho thinks that a good game is one without many chances.

but you're the one running up to the press box to post here at halftime?

also, were the monkey noises coming from the barca fans, or were they boos?

Not to mention that disgusting looking pitch. A tactic that backfired. And the sportsmanship that Chelsea players showed when half the Barca team stopped playing and kept telling them to hit the ball out of bounds cause Motta was on the ground hurt. All while 0-0 too. Explain this Pede

You should be a journalist for the Sun, you have a natural knack for turning a comment on its arse.

Perles.....envy will get you nowhere dude. The boos were from the Chelsea fans. The FEW monkey noises were from a FEW Barca fans, who thought it might be smart to make it look as if Chelsea fans were making those noises at Eto'o.They came unstuck because it was actually Barca fans who pointed them out to the stewards.Respect to those Barca fans. That was class of the highest order.

Ah yes the stereotypes. Mourinho has no merit, it´s just dirty tricks. Plz Mourinho assembled a wonderful team with little financial resources and won the most important european competitions in two consecutives years. With alot of hard work and effort from both players and Manager. You wouldn´t get there any other way. The incessant rambling, lack of respect is just amazing. You are no angels don´t put yourself in some kind of pedestal. There is no pure football, every league has it´s antics, that kind of moral superiority just sickens me. For me it´s just a way of diverting the attentions from your own weakness. So keep your stereotypes, whatever makes you sleep better at night. Bitterness at it´s best.

Bummy.....POT KETTLE BLACK mate.

One thing i will say though. How can you not be suspicious of an immoral team like Barca? You never know from one moment to the next whether someone is injured or faking it. Is it a ploy? Is it not a ploy?.....If Barca would show at least some amount of sportsmanship, maybe they might get some back.
Gamesmanship is all part of their game and they will think you naive and stupid if you fall for it.

An Arsenal fan preaching about sportsmanship. Now that is the most serious case of double standards that you can get.

I will agree with you that EVERY SINGLE TEAM cheats!!!!!! Weather its us, Barca, Chelsea, we all cheat. It has become part of the game.

And I think the Ref had a word with the linesman before initiating the Red Card. The linesman is there to assist the ref in what he cant see when players are blocking. Everyone is blaming him for the red card BUT if you watch the game you will see it is the linesman who influenced that horrible decision.
