LOL! I just wanna say that this thread is the best. thread. ever. period. So funny those comments...

I think most of all we saw a great match. Chelsea even with 10 players looked like playing with 11. Ferreira, Terry and Robben were just magnificent...they ran miles dammit...their effort maybe deserved another result...

But the result is fair. Barça is in the moment, the team that plays the best football on earth. Still, they aren't the best for me. The best (for me) is still Chelsea. Doin' that sh*t with 10 players against a team like Barça is just godly.

And no, the ref didn't have influence. He had a couple of bad calls for both sides. He shouldn't even be international.

Well, I just hope that the game at Nou Camp is as great as this one.

Congrats to both teams!

If those 2 penalties are called, it'd be very safe to say barca walks away with 2 goals anyway. Calls and refs are part of the game too and thats what many seem to fail to realize. I remember a few calls that screwed us over in the champs league game against porto a few years back you gotta move on anyway. The call where we had a goal called back because of offsides, and scholes wasn't offside.... i believe it was near halftime that it happened. The ref thought it was a red, so it's a red... even if it isn't deserved.

The reff should have sent off Puyol, maybe...but Del Horno was aiming to Messi knee all the time...maybe a Mourinho order..?

Wow that was a clinical goal by Eto'o but the cross by Marques did all the work i think. Some lovely stuff played by Barca as usual. I still dont understand why so much talent feels the need to play act. Still thats the way it is over there i guess. The ref was complete rubbish. Not only because of the red card but as someone said, there should have been at least one penalty for Barca. He refused to give Puyol his marching orders too, now that was a clear sign to me that he was favouring one team slightly, I SAID SLIGHTLY, over the other.

well last season we came back from a 2-1 defecit and went through so its a little early to write us off. Although i do understand where all the Chelsea haters are coming from, you sad sad wankers.
