Quick passing and beautiful team play is as nice - if not better sometimes - than showman tricks IMO. However playing well should create space for some tricks considering the players we have, and we did not play well - if fact we performed nearly as bad as England against Paraguay, and THAT is a bad sign (except that Croatia > Paraguay of course). Sadly the part about Ronaldinho is 100% true :( .

Back on "topic", if Lahms's goal was not "Joga Bonito", what else is?

I wouldn't worry about Brazil they usually start playing football in the semifinals.....its kind of sad and funny at the same time.

They know that as a team they can kick anyone's ass and the "choose" when to play. Really sucks for all of us.

This is so bad but we all know it, and..... we try to import Brazilian players. :jambo:

Personally I think the Joga adverts have the right ideas, but are put across stupidly. Cantona basically says no tackling. When a perfectly timed sliding tackle, last man, is just as enticing as a scintillating dribble. Its the balance that makes the game beautiful! I agree no diving etc though!

did you see spain 4th goal? good team work goal, start by puyol little 360, 1-2 combination, chest for torres and wonderful finishing. that's joga bonito
