Yes,Exactly thats my point , you must have analogs to be able to do tricks and make your buttons work normal . so when u buy gamepad with analogs , you can use my fix of buttondata's so you'll be able to play normally and have fun . hope i helped !

idk bro .. your windows seems to be diffrent ... i think its edited ? you porbably sh'd be in a normal system not edited .. or you can search for it but it takes time .. but i tell you this surely is not normal windows ..

Go to start >Type "regedit" in search area >Open it>Open "HKEY_CURRENT_USER">System>Curent Control Set>Control>Media Properties>Private Properties>Joystick>OEM>VID_08100&PID_0001

P.S: The "VID_08100&PID_0001" is changeable according to your own pc

you'll see a list of names , DoubleClick on "OEMName" , you're supposed to see your joystick's name , now change it to "Generic USB Joystick" or"Logitech Cordless RumblePad 2"
go to fifaconfig , and choose the name you've put , now you can play normally !

I have one problem ... Everything is working fine, but "select" doesn´t work, and "start" is on the "select" button, the RS isn´t working too ... Dude how can I fix it I have a normal Generic usb joystick ( SpeedlinK )

i have a problem with my keyboard and since i havent found a thread about similiar issue, i'm posting it here. so, the problem is that whenever i enter control configure menu game just crashes. i dont have any other controllers or gamepads connected. any ideas how to solve it?

umm , did u download the file and do as said in readme file ? it sh'd work ur RS , abiyt select and start , that ainta big prob i guess . the RS is more important , download both fixe's and see wich works and wich not , i'll try to help you as much as i can

i think there's a thread for keyboars ,,, i cant really help you about keyboards ... all what i can think of for your problem is maybe your keyboard , did u try to re-install fifa ? and maybe reconnect your keyboard

what controller you've ? basicly u c'd turn the viberation off from the settings on the controller itself , the part that in control panel , or if u didnt find it then install the CD came with it , that sh'd do

I have something important to add! My controller is a Twin USB Gamepad/2-in1/PSX-2 type etc.

I just spend 30 minutes trying to get the right stick problems to work. I tried the regedit stuff, I tried multiple .ini files....I tried everything, and it all failed.

I found the solution by working it out myself. In the buttonData.ini, you may need to *create* your own text to make your own controller work.

The bit in red you may need to edit. I suggest the following solution.

1. In Control Panel in Windows, go to devices and find out the exact name of your controller.
2. In regedit as mentioned in this thread, make sure the name matches this exactly.
3. In your buttonData.ini, put that exact controller name in this line of the text :
AddAlias "Twin USB Joystick [OR WHATEVER YOUR CONTROLLER IS]"

Sorry if this doesn't work, it solved all my problems and maybe it will help someone else!!

I have the xbox 360 controller.I have installed lastest driver from microsoft site but I don't find the settings for disable vibration

Trying to understand buttonData.ini, are the right and left triggers both ''buttons''? I thought they were represented as axis in order to get them to work.

Hi i have a saitek P3600. Since it is incompatible with fifa 12, I decided to go ahead and try the fix, which worked! However, right analog stick doesn't work, and some menus like the news scroll menu at career mode scrolls repeatedly and uncontrollably. Any light on this issue?

hmm i had that issue but it fixed itself ... idk how , i took off my controller while playing and then re-put it again then it worked normally , u can try that maybe ?

Didn't work for me. When did you took off your controller?

cant remeber exactly , what kind of controllers you have ? perhaps u sh'd install the driver that came with controllers

its much easir to edit from the fifa 11 settings ,, it basicly all what u need to edit for controllers ,,, u just need to do it right

Installed the latest drivers already. I think it's got to do with the right analog stick... I can click on player bio etc etc but it scrolls like mad after that.
