1-2 pass on PES3

I would like to know how to do the 1-2 pass on PES3.

I am using the left analog stick for movement.
Traingle and R1 have been swapped (Dash and through pass)
as well as circle and square (high ball and shoot)

I cant seem to find a way to doing this.

Same for the right analog stick. On PES 2 I could do manual passing with it. Now it seems I cant do it anymore.

With the right analog stick you have to press it down then push in the direction this year it seems. At least for the PC demo thats how it seems

with the default settings as 1-2 pass is achieved by

holding down L1 whilst running the ball and whilst holding L1 press X then release theese and use triangle for the return pass. You have to make sure that your players are nicely positioned though.

The 1-2 Pass works differently to previous versions.

Hold down L1 and press the x button to pass.

The play that released the ball will make a run.

The player that received the ball has a choice to pass to that player or decide not to.

This system is alot better because sometimes the automatic 1-2 pass is frustrating because the defender easily cuts the ball out.

So now you can chose to do the usual quick 1-2, or delay the 1-2 a few seconds.

This is great information, I didn't know how to do it either being new to the game. I'll have to try both the quick and delay moves, thanks a lot.

has anyone mentioned this?after passing holing L1 ,you can hold L1 and press triangle button to lob the ball back to the player who makes a run.

Indeed. By using the right analog stick you can do LOT of things, really great ones

Does the player initiating the 1-2 pass have to have the 1-2 pass ability?

Any player can perform the 1-2
Except the keeper i believe
