1.6 update won't install correctly...

I just downloaded the 1.6 update for the FIFA 2003 Creation Center, and I extracted the files like it says, into the same folder as CC is installed, but it doesn't overwrite anything. It just makes a new readme, sticks a shortcut in there that doesn't work, and a xls file which can't be opened. If you use the new shortcut, it displays an error message which reads: "Creation Centre's Internal Database is missing or corrupt. Please re-install Creation Centre." But there's nothing missing or corrupt, and I alreayd tried unistalling everything and repeating the process. It has the same result. My old Creation Centre (1.0) still works fine however, just without any updates whatsoever. Anybody else having similar problems?

You have to learn how to use your unzipping program. You need to unzip the files and copy them to the CC directory. That's all.
