I'm new to this forum, but I like to play CM a lot.
Here are my suggestions and probably some have been mentioned already, but here I go.
1) We (the managers) should be given the option in the game to put conditions on the Board. If the chairman is not willing to let us to purchase a quality player. We could threaten them to leave the club and apply else where.
2) SI should give us the alternative to thank players performance other than bonuses. I hate it not being able to do anything about it. The only options that are given is to disciple player for bad behavior or what not. But SI has forgotten about the positive perfomances. In addition, we cannot congruatulate our staff. Staff are also human beings, therefore should be given bonuses as well.
3) We should get players reactions and staff before and after top matches.
4) Fans should stop coming to the games if the team is not performing well.
5) This is really IMPORTANT, like in real life football. We should given the option if we want an INTERNATIONAL player to go play a friendly match for their NATIONAL TEAMS. In real life, big clubs don't usually allow they top players to play friendlies with their national squads. So, SI should make this option in the game as well. The reason I request this alternative, its because the club is paying huge wages and is not the beneficial to the club if a quality player gets injured in a friendly prior to a big match.
6) The board should give a big price ($) if our teams defeat other highly reputation teams. I don't if they do this in Europe, but certainly they do in Mexico; especially highly classic matches.
7) Also, the option of friendlies matches should be improve. During the off-season in real life clubs participate in cups. This option is available in this game. What is not available is that teams don't get a single penny. Come on, in real life they do.
8) Clubs should be given the option to exchange players (mostly youth) with other clubs for one season. Not a transfer, just a temporary transfer to acquire knowledge of clubs abroad. I don't know if this happens in Europe. But Mexican clubs (not all of them, only the highly reputation ones) with clubs from Argentina.
9) Managers (us) should interact with our staff during a game. We should get suggestions from our COACHES and ASSISTANT MANAGER if they are seeing a player performing poorly and get a recommendation for whom should we replace that player, like in REAL LIFE.
10) Hoping some day SI improves their graphics (players moving around the pitch, etc) so we can watch games on the screen and not just be reading text. FM (the competition) has this feature, but its full of BUGS.
