12-12-12 Concert for Sandy Relief

ShiftyPowers

Make America Great Again
Anyone else watching this? Pretty great lineup, although I could take or leave Springsteen who has been out there for 25 minutes and counting to start this thing off.

The concert will feature Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton, Dave Grohl, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Chris Martin, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, Eddie Vedder, Roger Waters, Kanye West, The Who, Paul McCartney plus more artists to be announced!

Just google it and you can find one of many legal streams.

Springsteen doing Born to Run with Bon Jovi, so hopefully that's it for both of them. Can't not like this song though.

Sir Paul McCartney is going to front Nirvana, which should be the absolute highlight of the night. Also looking forward to some Who and Kanye.

Anyone got a vid of that Nirvana thing Shifty mentions? Can't watch it now, but would definitely want to see that later.

No, we've had 90 minutes of Springsteen, Pink Floyd, and Adam Sandler. Nothing I've wanted to see yet. There will be a billion youtube links of it in the morning.

Really really hoping Kanye brings out Jay-Z and Billy Joel does some duets with Alicia Keys (or brings out Elton John, even better).

Still going on after 5 hours. Chris Martin is about to finish up and then Paul McCartney will front the Nirvana reunion and I'm sure play a bunch of awesome Beatles songs. I bet everyone comes out to sing Hey Jude at least and maybe a ton more songs.

I'm going to download this and watch it later. Line-up looks awesome. All those absolute legends, and they finish it with Alicia Keys!? Really!?

Well, just like a quick song on the piano as everyone was waving bye. McCartney headlined. The Who were by far the best in my opinion.

How was Nirvana?

edit: Uh never mind, I see they did no Nirvana songs, just other covers.

Oh really? Just out of respect for Kurt I imagine?? In that case it's more just McCartney, Grohl and Novoselic than Nirvana...
