1) My major gripe is that FIFA keeps crashing randomly and frequently. Every now and then when the screen goes black between menu options or after a match has finished, instead of loading the next screen it simply goes to the desktop. It happens every 10 mins or so and happens in completely random location e.g. when i click on 'Team management' (when screen goes black before the team management is displayed) or when a match is finished you select 'Continue' and the Career mode options should appear, it crashes.

My Specs are:

AMD Athlon 1400mhz
768DDR RAM
Direct X9.0b (installed today) - Tested FIFA04 before and after, happened both times.
NVIDIA Geforce 3 Ti 200 64mb
Windows XP Professional

Any help!?

2) I'm using a USB converter for my PS2 gamepad on my PC (from www.play.com).
I've installed the drivers and the pads show up in the control panel, and work fine in 'Testing,' As soon as i open FIFA04, the pad starts vibrating non-stop. If i keep pressing 'Analog' it does turn off rarely. Also it only lets me use either the sticks OR the pad.

Any ideas?

On the video card issue, I used to have the same problem last year with FIFA 2003, so I just update my video drivers with the latest drivers available and it worked!!

sorry mate, alreaydy updated my drivers. The game crashed before and after i did this. it appears there maybe no cure for my FIFA's illness. £30 down the drain....:(

yep, i have this too - really annoying - not happy with it - my problem seems to be mainly when i try to load a game, about 1 in 3 crash

I have the identical problem guys.... check the heat of your graphics card, mine is ******* boiling!!!!!!
