2 Things: Unlocked Balls, Patch Problems

Ok, first things thing's last: Is there any way to use unlocked balls in manager mode? I went to game settings and chaged it there but it still uses the defalt ball during manger mode games.

Second, does anyone know how to make the EA roster patch work right? I have my game on the G: drive, and I tell the patch that it is there, but it won't update my rosters. I tried a fresh install and fresh downloads; no dice.

Any help would be better than none. Thanks. :mexican:

Not that I'm aware of, at least not using the basic game as delivered by EA.

You'll need to give us a little more to go on. The fact that the game is on the G: partition should make no difference, so some indication of the error message(s) you get would be helpful.

(1) Is there a custom patch to make balls usable?
(2) the roster patch doesn't give an error. It says that the patch has successfully installed. But is really hasn't. The roster update is still August 06.:boohoo:

Have you reset your squads from within the game, or deleted the 'D. My Squads' file??
