Started watching the game at noon......stopped watching after Ohio State scored their 2nd TD. Came back at around 2:00 p.m. EST....3rd Q had just begun and was sruprised...NO blowout...on the contrary, it was rather close...14-7. Typical though....soon as I show up, they score....I got that sick feeling and turned it off...AGAIN. Came back a little later, expecting a tied game, only to see the rout I feared....42-7.

AFawfawjfhafwafw w;afjawe;fje3l;fje 1!!!!!!!

On a side note, the T-Tec-Ou game will be the first time I get to see Sam Bradford in a live game. Only watched hilites of him before. Tuned in during HT of the Thu night game and caught a few seconds of his interview.....turns out he's a member of the Cherokee Nation. I read, and watched a bunch of videos, about the Cherokee nation on Fri night. Some very interesting things came up(you'll see what I mean if you go through them on YouTube) to say the least..........

I'd rather see Joe Paterno go to the Rose Bowl......not Tressel....and especially NOT Beanie Wells.

He's an offensive lineman. His name is Brandon Carter. His position is Right Guard. He hopes to be a professional wrestler one day. I guess that's why he paints his face.

If you ask me I'd say it just tells you how their locker room is.

I can't imagine coaches actually liking their players doing that.

Latest BCS standings:

1 Alabama ------>.987
2 Texas-------->.921
3 Oklahoma---->.912
4 Florida------->.875
5 USC--------->.797
6 Utah-------->.786
7 Texas Tech-->.779

Surprised how far Texas Tech fell....sure it's a big loss, but it's to a quality opponent. Neither USC nor Florida can claim a "quallity" loss. I'd have thought they'd be able to fall no further than 5th....staying ahead of USC and definitely Utah. Texas Tech has beaten Oklahoma State and Texas...both teams were ranked in the top 10 at the time and both are STILL in the top 15. This means that they have no chance of moving back ahead of either USC or Utah unless Oklahoma loses to Ok. State, which would send T-Tech to the Big XII title game and a win over Mizzouri would allow them to leapfrog a bunch of teams.

What's perhaps even more surprising is how far ahead of the "best team in the country(Florida)" the Sooners have risen. Both teams have been on a tear since they lost. I'd have expected Oklahoma to have stayed behind Florida. Beat Oklahoma State and THEN I'd say they could move ahead of the Gators. Instead, they're ahead and are infact very close to Texas. A win over Oklahoma State and, as long as Texas Tech wins, it's goodbye Texas...the same Texas team that beat Oklahoma in the head to head game...HA!!!!!

It's looking a lot like Oklahoma-Florida for the national championship....I'm not at all convinced by Alabama or Mizzouri(for an upset) in the 2 conference championship games.

Boise State can't "prove their worth" because no big team will play them after what they did to OU.

New to all these college sports, but have been keeping track of my own uni (too embarrassed to mention.. :D) and Ohio State.

Damn that Terrelle Pryor is good, eh?

What bowl are Ohio State heading to?

They're probably headed for the CapitalOne Bowl, which would mean that they would end up playing the second pick from a pool of bowl eligible teams from the SEC. However, the bowls are not obligated to choose the team that finished in second place in the regular season, and since the SEC will in all likelihood send two teams to the BCS, you won't be seeing the Buckeyes playing the Alabama-Florida loser.

If Oregon visits Oregon State AND WINS, then Ohio State is going to a BCS Bowl game.

If Oregon visits Oregon State AND LOSES, then you can pencil this game in for the Capital One Bowl:

-Oregon has 3 losses and 2 of them have come on the road. Oregon has scored more points against fellow PAC10 opponents than any other PAC10 team.....BUT....of the top 5 teams in the PAC10, Oregon has given up the most points to PAC10 opponents than any other PAC10 team.
-Oregon State's star running back, who almost single-handedly beat the all conquering USC, is expected to miss this game with an injury

EDIT: Knowshown Moreno versus Beanie Wells..........MMMMMMmmmmm!
