I'm sure you'll be aware of the RENDER_RATE issues of FIFA 09/10. To work smoothly on my computer, I had to set it to render rate 3. Also, I had to set the process afinity to 2 CPUs, which was by default set to only 1. When set that way, the game works perfectly. And my CPU is powerful enough, no issues there, but working at 1 CPU, the image is not jerky, it's just like it has 20 fps, but not with occasional 'hiccups', just very regular 20 fps that doesn't skip but is kinda low framerate when the screen is moving and it's hard to look at because of it.
Now the process afinity of the WCSA can't be set for some reason. It's just not allowed, and it's the first time I've seen task manager not allow it. I've already tried setting the render rate in cfg_pc_h.ini, but it doesn't seem to help without the afinity being set to 2 CPUs. The game looks lovely and all, but I can't play it like this. Is there a way to set the afinity or will you reenable it in the executable? Or set it to 2 CPUs straightaway in the .exe? I don't know if you've had this issues in FIFA 10, but it was normal to me, the same thing happening in FIFA 09. Just had to be set up properly.
I even tried THG Task Assignment manager that allows you to manually set process afinities for various processes/programs, but it didn't seem to help as the WCSA process seems to disable this.
Also, I had to run the launcher by manually executing it with administrator privileges, and then it would respond properly to START or REBUILD FAT, otherwise I'd get an error message.
