2010 FIFA World Cup Mode - Support Thread

I have destroyed the GUI of Algeria, cause the logo is missing a few things so i exported it with creation master 10, edited the mistakes, and when i imported the logo back to cm10 it got destroyed, in the game it doesn't look 3D, it looks like a image, a picture, not a logo....how can i fix that? thanks in advance.

FFS!!!

1) Download the game

2) Unpack/Unrar it with winrar, unrar it to cgames\wc2010 <--for example

3) Move the WCSA 10 folder to my documents

4) dubbleklick the WC.reg file, a window will popup, choose YES, then OK

5) IF you want to be safe that the game will work, NOW APPLY the reg fix (if you have x64 operating system) / Other fixes

6) Press the REBUILD button and wait for it to finish, then the START button

7) ENJOY THE GAME

!!! if the game crashes, try to run the regfix / other fixes, and a rebuild, then launch game again !!!

But...can somebody give us update with national team flags...we want flags...no logos...
Please update that if u can... In popup that will be awsome...please give us flags patch...in cmp or just exe. update...

you want flags ?

heres what you do.

you open cm10.
then you export a teams logo & gui logo.

then you open photoshop.
you edit them to size up w/ the logos.
then you import them.

stop holding your hand out looking for a freebie.

do it yourself.

there will be no flags, logos, rosters, etc updates for this mod.

you demanders are gonna run all the editors out of hee & you will be left w/ nothing but
whats available for download now.

its that time to learn how to do for yourselves.

Your work with logos is incredible...realy awsome...i just ask you if you have flags...just post or give me the link with flags i will edit and do my best...i'm not professional like you and rest but i will try...

all the flags you need.

if you have my unlicensed teams logos imported, open cm10 &
export both logos for either switzerland or south africa to use
as a base.

first logo is in the general section & the gui is in the gui section.

export them as png images.

once exported, open photoshop, drag both logos & a flag into ps.
copy the flag, select a logo tab, then hit ctrl+V to paste, & then
press ctrl+T & resize the flag to the size of the logo.

then repeat for the next logo, then for the rest of the flags.

then import them w/ cm10.

then upload & share them here, & it could be your first contribution
to the sg community.

you are wrong, i just gave files to the mod.

i did no actual work on the mod itself.

so therefore i wouldnt know if there is an update, but i would assume there wont be.

Hi! First of all a big thank you and respect to all the people involved in this WC 2010 patch.

Now let me describe my problem:

My system: Windows 7 x64 (if more info needed just ask)

- I have installed FIFA 10
- I have unrared WC 2010 patch into different location (dgames\2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa; FIFA 10 is in dgames\FIFA10)
- I have downloaded v.1.01 database fix and replaced the original file
- I have downloaded WC.reg file for x64 systems and run it
- I have put the WCSA10 folder into my documents
- I have regenerated the fat files
- I have started the game with loader (as administrator)

- I have even tried to put WCSA10.exe into WinXP compatibility mode

The game starts ok, I can come into the menus, edit my preferences (even the resolution), start new tournament, edit my starting eleven and save the tournament.
When I start to play a match everything is fine to the loading screen. When the match (animation) should have started (when you see the players for the first time), I get this:




Only once I was able to start playing the match and I got the same crash after about 10 seconds of playing. All other times I get this crash as described above.


Any help would be very appreciated.

If it reports "fifa.fat is corrupted" or a message like that rebuild the mode using launcher's "FAT Rebuilding" option .

Merdiso, I have big problem.
Everything was just fine,but sometimes in the middle of the match the game just crashes with message like "FIFA WC2010 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. "

Only thing that I think can help you is "the file included in error report".
That is: f575_appcompat.txt located in TEMP.

Okay,now this is really too much!
When i play with my brother [gamepad vs keyboard],the game always crashes.I have played 10 times,every time it crashes the same way.Sometimes in 43' , sometimes in 74' , there is no pattern.Sometimes,when there is a corner kick to be played, or a foul committed. It just crashes.I never managed to finish the game. [btw. playing gamepad v keyboard is the only thing why I wanted this game so badly.]

I realize that this is hard,and I really appreciate your effort,but this is driving me crazy.The game is cool,but please do not stop working until it is finally over.And it'll be finally over when there will be no major crashes or bugs.I do not mind the lack of multiplayer,or the lack of EDIT PLAYER opinion,or the fact that there is no music after the first match.I realize that you are not professional programmers, but the crashes are too much.That's the thing that makes the game unplayable. I play for 10 mins and it all magically disappears.

What is wrong with this gameplay.... Australia - Germany 6:1 , Argentina - Nigeria 1:3
Can somebody update fixtures patch? Carrier.ini or something like that...Fixtures in this mod are very unreal...
If play qualifications...England,Germany,Portugal,France...finish on last 3rd places...and Malta,San Marino...be first,second with etc. 8 wins and 2 loss...that is very unrealistic...so can you improve fixtures part?

I am really sorry to bother you again my friend, but after I edited some stuff ( six kits, 11 fonts and one face, to be precise ), when I press "start" on the launcher, it shows me this message:
'FIFA 10 requires at least 280MB of free swap file space. Please free the required space and re-run the game'. - What have I done wrong and how to fix it?

I can always remove the patch and install it again if you're too busy to answer that.

Bug selecting last defense player

Hi folks,

Let me say at first thanks for all your efforts by doing this great mod, looks amazing and its playability is awesome!
My friends and I have been playing hours and hours playing it and we always have the same problem just when only one defense left in the area before the the goalkeeper, and it is impossible to select it for controlling it manually; it stays controlled by the CPU AI and does absolutely nothing to bring the ball back to its team. So, please check if you guys have problems selecting the last man on defense in this particular case. It is not happening all times, just when this situation brings to the surface.

When i try to start a match it stops working. no matter what team i choose.tried all fixes.none of them helped
