Falcao spends more energy for his goal celebrations, fantastic player. He's new Romario, maybe faster version.

good draw for PSG, in Group A with Porto, Zagreb, and Kyiv ... however, I can't help but be reminded of this same time in 1998, when Ajax were drawn in Group A with Porto, Zagreb, and Olympiacos ... thought that was an good draw then; turned out to be the start of a sh!t European season (Ajax finished bottom, Barça didn't survive the Group of Death, and Man Yoo lifted the trophy) ...

Wait..... you really have completely forsaken your beloved Milan for PSG just like that?

Aren't your pillars Cruyff, Italy and Mou? Why would you prefer PSG, which you only like because of Ibra and a few people yyou like, over Italy?

if it comes on the back of PSG (aka Serie A Central) success, that's fine by me ...

tbh, there's no excuse for a league whose runners-up are forced to forget their pedigree, and are reduced to this:

I might be misunderstanding, but sounds like if PSG's success causes Italy to drop in the rankings (and lose CL spots as a consequence), you'd be fine with that and would still cheer PSG on.

why didn't you just respond to that in the Calcio thread where the topic was being discussed?

anyway, what I'm getting at is: a phoenix needs ashes to rise from ... the success of Zlatan & Serie A Central FC in the Champions League forcing calcio's reincarnation is a win-win as far as my current and future entertainment and intellectual engagement with football is concerned ...

Wonder what the odds are on Serie A being a phoenix or just a dead bird. I'll go with bird. Slippery slope.

I think so too, at least for a while. It seems like we are going for a Bayern model and raping the league for all it's talent

Yeah seriously, falling to 6th and getting less and less TV money and investment is not a recipe for success. Worse comes to worse (and it did) and German clubs can fall back on huge crowds of loyal fans that sell out every game and a good surrounding economy. Italian clubs can fall back on...

Juventus could be like 90s Dynamo Kiev in a decade as they're the only club that seems to have realized that things have changed in the last 20 years.

But it's good to know that Xifio doesn't give any kind of **** about his beloved Calcio when it comes up against his disturbing hero worship of, by all accounts, a monstrous asshole with a pony tail.

Mmmh I don't think it will get that bad but it definitely isn't impossible
