Atlético Madrid starting lineup (4-2-3-1):
Thibaout Courtois | Filipe Luís, Diego Godín, Joao Miranda, Juanfran | Gabi, Mario Suárez | Koke, Diego, Raúl García | Diego Costa

Substitutes from: Dani Aranzubia, Toby Alderweireld, Tiago, Arda Turan, Cristian Rodriguez, Jose Sosa, David Villa

Chelsea starting lineup (4-3-3):
Petr Cech | Ashley Cole, John Terry, Gary Cahill, Cesar Azpilicueta | David Luiz, Mikel, Frank Lampard | Ramires, Torres, Willian

Substitutes from: Mark Schwarzer, Nathan Aké, Tomas Kalas, Oscar, Marco van Ginkel, Andre Schurrle, Demba Ba

Defensive sides from both, I'd say.

I actually really liked the game. Way more entertaining than Bayern-Barça last year imo. These two teams deserve to be in the semifinal precisely because of what they did today.

Anyone expecting different clearly hasn't watched either team this year. I don't like 0-0s like this. I didn't enjoy last time we went to tyhe Bridge 0-0 against a Spanish team. Mou got the result he wanted though. Torres was excellent in his role today, being without Lamps, Cech AND Terry is going to be a pain but I think we can pull it off.

I was actually going to mention that as being a lot worse because it was a one sided game. The second leg will be more interesting and I expect a more entertaining game.

I enjoyed the match as well, but my nerves are still totally wrecked. I can only wonder what Chelsea fans might have felt when Atlético were attacking.
I sooo wanted Atleti to score at least one goal. Looking on the bright side at least they didn't concede, not like Chelsea had a lot of chances though. Torres showed a few glimpses of what he's capable of again. Didn't really lead to anything, but still. On another day he might have pulled something off.

Back to Atleti, maybe the lack of experience of playing in a CL semifinal showed a little, they were a bit unlucky a couple of times and seemed somewhat nervous on some occasions while attacking (i can't discredit Chelsea though, since they defended well). Although one could argue that they won the Europa League a few seasons ago, so they aren't really that "inexperienced" in big matches. But their manager and lineup wasn't exactly the same back then, i think.

After the season Atlético has had i just want them to progress to the final, or even win the whole damn thing. I think it would be nice if a "smaller" club would win it over awhile. I believe noone expected them to get this far in the beginning of the competition.

Chelsea can't afford to give Atleti an extra 30 minutes to score an away goal so I expect Mou to be much more forward-thinking.

Forgot Mikel would miss next game, too. With Ivanovic back we can at least field a good backline, and hope DL and Ramires can hold the midfield but it's not gonna be easy.
