I decided to put Arbeloa in the starting XI. Arbeloa has better defensive qualities than Montoya, he is more tactically disciplined, I need this against Tevez and Van Persie.

The fact that he remains in defense (you can see that Arbeloa is placed more defensive than Schmelzer, so are the arrows) allows Lampard to attack more often, to be more advanced, offensive, where he feels better.

I think redbull is overrated but I give them the edge anyway.

All my attacking players are always active and track back, whereas only Di Maria is known as a hard worker in FCB's attack. Not to mention I have the stronger, more veteran midfield with yet another work horse in Matuidi. Defensively I would say it's a toss up, so we can call that a tie.

2/3 for me.

This should've been one of the semis, both are great teams.

 

[Sir Didier Drogba]

These are two good teams. Actually very difficult to separate. I am gonna vote Redeem Team because my gut tells me that those players would gel and play some very beautiful football, whereas I think Redbull could end up being a little static. Hazard-Silva-Di Maria is an excellent combo but none of them have started this season with a bang.

Good team though, would beat most others in this competition, unlucky draw.
