If you reward players based on the fact that they won more titles (which is a team achievement) then there ia no point in handing out individual awards.

Individual awards should be dismissed, imo. Doesn't make much sense and it'd be justified if it weren't affected by politics.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I agree with poet. No one votes impartially, it's all politics. We shouldn't hand out awards like this globally. The league ones seem fine still, at least in Germany and England where I pay attention.
