Yeah, 205 teams plus 7 classic teams i guess. Maybe the master league has some extra teams.

like some guy said, I too think it's just a beta version. it's 205, plus classic, plus 20 from league B that they forgot to show, which makes it 230something so far. and I'm guessing they count teams such as honduras and bahrain in some world challenge mode like pes6.. but still, this is not 250 teams AND MORE like Seabass himself said. anyway I hope we'll be more satisfied in a couple weeks with the game and really find over 250 teams

p.s. wikipedia had Valletta FC, Djurgardens, Sparta Prague, Partizan Belgrade and a couple more which I don't recall right now, but they removed that from the article about pes2008

Mates, don't stress about the teams...if you get this game for PC then one good patch will give you basically any team you want....

I agree with mpongka...this could very well just be a beta...the final comes out in a few weeks...(a few months if you live in the US...grrr...). This (I don't think) is definately not the final product. I think there will be many more teams...

wikipedia removes stuff because it's not true.

why do you think this could be a "beta"? Why should konami make a beta version of the game with teams/leagues missing?

i think the 250 teams was about the ps2 version. i've seen a ps2 screenshot with Qatar.

what's with honduras and bahrain in "world challenge mode"? have these teams been in PES6?

sorry Roger, ma bad ;P yeah well I guess some teams are missing.. I hope the a,b,c teams crap will be replaced with new licensed that are not yet revealed I also hope the 'over than 250 teams' is not just for PS like Biebrich said.. it will be a tremendous disappointment. I emailed konami today with a p.s. in the end asking for a responsible and not automatic answer about the number of the teams in the game for the pc version.

p.s. Biebrich , bahrain, honduras, bosnia and herzegovina and some others were included but not playable as far as I know in PES 6's international challenge mode.

I really hope we'll get to see more than 250 teams this time.. and I know that many of you say 'what's the point, you only use chelsea' for example but that's not a good argument. I mean.. what do you guys wanna say? that you'd buy PES with licenses for barcelona, arsenal , liverpool, ajax, juventus etc only because it's the most realistic simulation in soccer games? of course not, noone would. we need more teams and if they want to continue having a success in their series they need to get more and more and more and more and more teams and uh.. SOME MORE IN THE END TOO :P that's what I think ;P

I wonder since Konami keep dropping teams out of their game in an ever increasing speed WHY CAN'T THEY MAKE LEAGUES C,D,E,F,G,...,W with blank teams? Or even better: a chance to create players, teams and leagues. Every new addition to the team list is welcome one of course but why do they take some teams away??? And I don't mean these lisenced teams like United and Arsenal last year as they are not lisenced anymore. I mean they put in Israel and took away Latvia (I think it is). What is the point?????

yeah!!, but that coments are wrong, because this guys who noticed that there is a diference in the text, i mean: "other legues and then appears andere ligen", didnt noticed that some shots are from a english version others are from a german version...so «andere ligen», means «other legues» in english. So these we have other legues a, b and c.
