Well last time a game I was following waited a long time to release some info was one of the Smackdown games, I like Smackdown: Shut your mouth and they game was pretty well improved and the reasoning behind them not releaseing so early was the fact that they were hard at work and wanted to show something solid and improved, So hopefully the same will apply with Fifa this year. Makes perfect sens eif you ask me.

its because FIFA programmers are LAZY. Whoever they are they arent the same team that makes madden and nba. Those guys always have everythign planned way ahead of time, plus they have all their marketing doen ahead of time so you know everything about everything. Something about FIFA games....you never hear anything, when you do its minimal and usually boring. If you dont hear anything soon, its because they have NOTHING, not because they have something.
I'll FIFA regardless, I love the games but the team who makes the game is just not on par with the team that makes the madden/nba/tiger games...

Well from what I remember on the past Fifa's by now we'd have info on the game, so for this year seeing how we are waiting longer kind of gives you a clue that EA are possibly doing something right and are waiting for the right moment in development to show off the game to the community. Now I wont say that Fifa 06 will be God of all soccer games but its does give get me thinking that they are proably adding alot to the game. Now Lior has had some info and ifs telling use that he's impressed and knows that we will all like it, I take his word for it.

But then again we all have our opinions but please if you don't have anything productive to say they don't say anything at all, aparently you dont like EAsports so why even post here? Well thats too, just because there making a next gen game doesnt mean the same game for this gen will be "watered down". All next gen will have better is mainly the graphics, the content like Lior said will be most likely the same. Now if 06 for this gen came out like 6 months before the next gen game we'll proably see a slight improvment in gameplay but not super advanced. Well plain and simple it'll be the same just with better graphics.
You forget physics Rport. The next gen consoles aint just all about graphics. Thanks for clearing that up Lior. I was just speaking from experience(comparing the PS1 & PS2 versions of the same FIFA's). Either way i aint wholly dismissing the game but i'm keeping my hopes low.....so that i dont get dissapointed in the end
