3 strange things happened in CM4

I ripped open the CD packet and stuck the CD in the drive, installed and started playing CM. After about half an hour playing i realised that liverpool's attack aint that good. Heskey is poor, Diouf is refreshingly good, Baros is ok, and owen is sheer ****. So i decided to go after a striker, (also, i was intreged into how the transfer system worked!). AFter looking at a few old legends, Gomez, Konstantianou, i decided to go after the wonderful Ronaldo, here are thre strange things that happened on my hunt for him.

1st: AFter searching for Ronaldo i see that his Transfer value is about 22m, and his attributes are pretty awsome (at least compared to Owen.), i then looked at his status...... TRANSFER LISTED - thinks he has been brought to the club under false pretences!!! AS IF!

2nd: After putting a few bids in for him, i somehow manage to agree a deal of.... 12m!!!! When he was worth 10m more and had just signed him!

3rd: I then manage to agree a deal..... only to find that Ronaldo, Ronaldo the superstar, possibly the most famous player in the world..... is not granted a work permit!!!!! hahaha.

Just some weird things that happen in CM4, lol.

By the way, as a replacement i bought Jardel for 4m, he scored on his debut against man utd.

You can appeal the work permit. I did and got him.

Also, Liverpool have one of the best attacks on the game. Owen and Heskey are amazing. How unrealistic.

FFS. They make the game easier, yet people still can't get players to work.

Owen, Forward runs, run with ball, attack near post.
Heskey, hold up ball, through balls, stand far post.
Diouf, AMC, through balls, run with ball, long shots, attack from edge of the box,

they are all good! realistic... the problem is you aren't accostumed to the new representing system of the profile of the player, giving the sense the player have a poor profile, if you represent on a paper or on your pc the profile of Owen with the skills that are in his profile on CM4 and put them in the order of CM3 you will see he has perfectly a good profile!

good players on CM4:

- the striker of VfB ?Stugard? (a german striker)
- Cristiano Ronaldo (Sporting C.P.) he come for free...
- Ricardo Quaresma (Sporting C.P.)
- Chopra (Newcastle) he scores a lot!
- Zola (Newcastle)
- Deco (F.C. Porto) he has a clause... excelent player
- Rooney (Everton) he come for free...
- Joe Cole (West Ham) has a clause...
- Joaquín (Bétis)
- Vicente (Valencia)

Nikiforenko, Tsigalko, etc.....

they are not in the game....

Apart from the major leagues, Spain, Italy, etc. the other teams usually have 1 or 2 real players, and the rest is computer generated.

gareth, even you must admit that Owen is one has crap attributes? I mean come on, just look at the off the ball and finishing compared to some of the others. Heskey is crap, i dont care what you say, hes never performed for me on any cm game and he doesnt look to be doing so on this one. Diouf is good but has broken his leg (thats why i was trying to buy a SC), and Baros is the only one at the moment who isplaying well. For owen by the way i use what you said to use anyway, he has played 7, scored 1 and assisted 1. Av rating of 6.75. Dioufs is 8.00 and Jardel is 7.75.

Owen's stats are not crap. Henry has finishing of 15, yet he has 8 goals in 6 games for me.

Players are being edited. CM4 is not about super tactics, it is about players and how good you can get them to peform.

Simao-Portugese and Julio-Celta are amazing wingers.

Simao has always been good on cm. pity he didnt do it for portugal in the world cup...... or was he injured? cant remember.
