Those were the basic words from Kaka's wife about Pellegrini on the fact that her husband was swaped during a decisive and really disappointing match.

It was posted on her Tweeter page, as it follows:

http://terceirotempo.ig.com.br/noti...tecnico_do_Real_apos_eliminacao_Covarde-20616

Kaka's wife, Caroline Celico is a quite controversial carachter. First, she was included in the pretty much discussed sexual stand of Kaká, who said it was his desire to marry as a virgin and of course, in order to confirm the 'achievement' of his spiritual goal, Caroline was asked and she actually said that she totally supported his ideal.

Caroline is also a priest for "Renascer" (Rebirth) the fundamentalist church that Kaká follows. The couple who manages the church were accused of money laundry and sonegation (they were caught at the airport with money inside a Bible, carved in the shape of a small money pack). The couple was also charged and accused in Brazil in this week.

Caroline once preached in one of Renascer cults that Kaká did not accept Man City's offer because it was Jesus' orientation. She said that a divine revelation showed them that there were many more souls to be saved in Spain, specifically in Madrid rather than in Manchester.

I can only guess why...

That quote should be used to describe not just Pellegrini but the whole Real Madrid establishment. From Florentino downwards.

Am I missing something? How is this controversial? I mean, I've held this ideal for 21 years now. If he's saying everyone who does deserves to burn in hell or something, that's different, but if he just wanted to wait, more power to him.
Edit: not that I'm implying there wasn't controversy. I just don't understand it.

I'm not saying he's wrong, I just said it's controversial. Come to Brazil and you'll realize why. Girls and boys here tend to lose their virginity at 15 I guess. Well that's a quite advanced average, I'd say even 13. With the current and damned emo trend now, those boys and girls and even closer than they used to be in my age - because that's emo's premise, something really big here - and you know, they're teenagers, they're hugging and kissing...alcohol+matches=....

Also, Brazil it is a quite sexual country. Soap operas here show gorgeous women with their shaped hips and buts wearing quite "tropical" dresses while they talk about their "emotional issues"...you have the Funk from Rio, Carnival...everything in here revolves quite a lot around sensuality, so...when a good looking man like Kaka, who has tons of girls diving to his feet says he's a virgin, go wonder the shock...

Sorry tinytim but I can't see how Kaka's religious and private life choices were controversial to any significant extent here in Brazil (by controversial, I mean something that polarizes the opinion of the society or triggers new behavioural trends). Maybe you could (as you did in the first post) mention the money laundering activities of his church, but he played no part whatsoever in that anyway. Also I fail to identify how the emo "subculture" has anything to do with sexual initiation of Brazilian teenagers...

Help?

You kinda diverted my attention from the topic quite successfully here

It seems he really believes the old stereotype about Brazilian people. While I find that rather sad I do agree it was a very effective off-topic diversion.
