just finished 4th in the epl, and won the FA cup with Leeds :D
imagine my suprise when season 2 rolls around and i find out i have qualified for the UEFA Cup....:confused:
err 4th spot is Champions League...I need that damn money!!!:f***:
A little pissed really, why did this happen? I checked the UEFA coefficients and i should have got a berth but places 1-3 got in plus Chelsea who won it the previous year...

maybe there is a maximum of 4 teams (nr. 1-3 +Chelsea, you say CL winner) from one country in CL, but I think it is a bug. Which Ep do you have:confused:

must be a bug....cuz milan, juve, inter, and lazio are in this years champ league......so its gotta be a bug.

its definatly a bug. EPL gets 4 teams in the Champions league

1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th.

However, if you are secretly playing CM01/02 and not telling us, then i think it still thinks there are only 3 places.

Maybe there is indeed a "maximum of 4 teams per country" rule for the CL. So that if you should get 4 spots, but the previous winner is also from your country, and not in the top 4 spots of the league, last year, only 3 + the winner go through, if you can follow. :p

its a bug. along with the bug later on in the game that givs u no fixtures for a month and then makes u play 5 games in 7 days....................:rolleyes: i feel like such a sucker to pay to beta test cm03/04

Its ok, its not a bug. It happens in real life sometimes too, the last time Real Madrid won the CL they only qualified for the next one due to winning it, they finished 6th or something and the 4th place side had to settle for UEFA..thats what happened to me.

Arsenal, Newcaslte and Liverpool got in, and so did Chelsea coz they won it the previous year (they finished 7th). I get stuck with UEFA after finishing 4th because England is only allowed 4 teams.

Bit of a bitch but at least it wasnt a bug and i didnt get ripped of due to faulty code, makes me feel much better about just beating Chelsea 5-2 in the league too:mrpimp:
