A newbie question

Does anyone know how do i make pictures look like they are moving in photoshop 7?

I don't mean like that, i mean some people say they use motion blur but i can't figure it out.

When i use motion blur i looks like this and it doesn't seem like it's moving.

You have to duplicate a layer of the turntable. Motion blur the copy. And then either move it on top or drop it behind, or maybe use eraser so that it looks like there's transition

lol if u wanna do it cheese style u can duplicate the layer
and just move the copies to which ever direction its coming from
or pixel stretch where its coming from
but i dont really feal like explaining that right now the motion blur thing is good do that...
