Aaaaah! Ebay!

So two weeks ago I bought FM off of Ebay, and it said that it would come in 2-3 weeks. So it came today, and it is F*CKING CM5! Now there's no way I can definitely get my money back or I can get FM without having to buy it again. Hopefully the seller is going to be good about it, I already emailed him telling him about the mistake. I was so excited when I saw the package for me in the mail, and then I open it up and it's CM! I didn't open the seal on the game box or anything, so hopefully I can send it back to them and get the right game. SO ANGRY!

Sorry to hear that. I had to buy the game twice myself, first they sold me this "lite" version (well, it was pirated, without an editor ,images, tournament trees etc.). I took it back and they sayed: "It's not our fault, we can't buy it back and can't swap it either, cause we don't have any copies left." I told them to **** off and left the game there. I ended up buying a new copy online.

If the seller is uncooperative, leave him a nasty negative feedback. But before that, just keep contacting the person... They HATE negative feedback and most of the time they'd rather give your money back.

No, he had a 98% or so. He had a lot of sales too, so he wasn't new to Ebay.

I paid with PayPal.

If you paid with Paypal as you say then you should be able to get reimbursed. My uncle had the same thing happen with a monitor he bought there. Contacted paypal directly I think. Might be worth looking into anyway.

I've emailed the guy and he said that he was going to send me the right game if I paid for the shipping, plus I get to keep CM5, so I'm happy now. I'm sure that I can sell CM5 for more than the shipping of FM costs.

It's a very good deal if you look at CM5 still costing €50,- / $50,- in the stores. But if I look at how much I would end up playing CM5 when in your situation... I'd still be heavily annoyed. Irritated even.
