not really cause both teams get to be home so it is equal. its not like it say a 1 leg tie and 1 team is home then yah away goal rule would make sense there. Both team's get the chance to be home and get to have the advantage of being home. get what i mean?
And frankly eliminating this rule while give clubs insentive to play well in both games cause if that rule isnt there they cant make it through if aggregate is tied so they will be forced to have a leading aggregate.
with away goal rule teams would try really hard to get an away goal then when they are home play defensive and pretty much try and lock them going through.
with away goal rule gone they cant do that it'll force them to play hard in both matches ad make the matches more exciting and competitive. not only that it'll give the lesser clubs a better chance. it sucks that say lyon dont make it through vs barca cause away goal rule when they busted there ass so hard you know what i mean.? with away rule gone we will; probably see more games go into extra time and pk's which is way more exciting.
