Kaka and Pato playing together gives you speed, Seedorf slows things down and Inzaghi cannot run at a pass.

Ronaldinho is good enough on his talent alone but not in a team which has Kaka'.

exactly that's the point. Ronaldinho played his best matches for Milan when Kaka was injured (e.g. second match against Inter) and Kaka played his best matches this season when Dinho was on the bench. They can't play well on national team as well. I think if Kaka goes, Dinho will stay. Othewise it's better for him and Milan if he leaves.

regarding that speed issue, when you play 4-3-3 you need fast forwards, and good providers like Xavi, Iniesta and lampard. I can't put Ambrosini, Gattuso in that category. Beckham played great there and Milan were poor in their last match without him.

So you think Ronaldinho's leaving then? I don't understand who in this world still thinks Kaka' will leave, i doubt the idiots in As and Marca believe it either.

Gattuso isn't suppose to provide, while Ambro is just a backup for him. If everybody wasn't injured Milan would play with two strikers Pato and Borriello with Kaka' behind and Seedorf , Pirlo and Gattuso in midfield. The bold ones are your providers. Iniesta (Seedorf) and Xavi (Pirlo) have their Yaya (Gattuso) and Keita (Ambro/Flamini). Milan has always played like this but in the last two years they haven't had the chance to, while the squad was still built to play like this. Everything else was patching up, Gilardino was a failure and he should have been that tip, and so on.

And those fast forwards well Pato and Kaka' are both insanely quick (They're there with Henry and C.Ronaldo in termes of speed) only Borriello is a bit behind, but he' more of a Drogba type forward. Everything would be ok with Milan had the players been uninjured, and if Ancelotti made a couple of better decisions.

ya I think Dinho should leave, if he goes to an average team like city. there are fewer games and he can be the main star there. Maybe that can boost him for World Cup.

so I think you need a striker who carries less injury (unlike Inzaghi, Borriello) as well as some milan worthy defenders not guys like Kaladze. A good replacement for Seedorf as well, maybe Gourcuff.

City is the worse move Dinho could make at this point, purely due to the risk of him flopping,(once you flop at City where does he go, Brazil)? It's pretty much a damn shame the Ronaldinho of 2005 has fallen this low within such short time. He's going to have to adapt to playing with Kaka rather than the other way around.
P.S:- What do you guys think of giving Kaka' the captainship after Maldini retires?

Gattuso said he doesn't want it, Ambrosini could be but he's unlikely to be a starter even and he's no leader material, Kaka' already leads the team, shouts commands and all in a great way, he'd be a perfect Captain, and he'd deserve it!

Let's win this one against Roma for Maldini!!!!! The best defender ever!!!!!!! The King of Milan!!! The legend!!

And if we win hopefully Milan will announce Van Basten as a coach on monday :), ok i know that's a bit stretched but a lotof comments from both players, Galliani and Berlusconi, other coaches and football experts indicate that Ancelotti's time in Milan is over and that Van Basten is our next coach. Mourinho also said it today and not as an assumption.

Van Basten and Gourcuff and i'll be crazy all summer.

Also we are playing in our new jersey against Roma, it's the one with a white collar circling around, i find it very elegant, and so 90's, kinda gives a hint and Van Basten :), a new start. :)

Maldini's suggesting Kaka' for a captain, and you listen to Il Capitano!

Seems Van Basten is almost a sure thing, at least i hope, anyways according to Mourinho Ancelotti's leaving to Chelsea and he's always been honest, i believe that everybody knows it by now but Mou is trying to put us off by saying it early, before an important game against Roma. (In this case I don't resent him cause i'm ******* sick of Ancelotti's one way tactics)

Setting up Kaka' as a Captain, appointing Van Basten as a coach and bringing back Gourcuff/getting rid of Seedorf are just what Milan need for a fresh start!

Let's win against Roma for Maldini!
Forza Milan! Forza Il Grande Capitano!

...is a good option but I doubt he is coming back into management in the near future. Van Basten cannot be ruled out, considering his team had already lost Heitinga and Huntelaar moved to Real (that's two captains in succession).
Anyway Paolo Maldini week begins now, I'm surprised no tribute thread was opened for him.

Ancelotti has to go! Subbing Ronaldinho for Pato and Seedorf for Beckham, he should have left beckham and Pato and subbed Inzaghi for Ronaldinho! I'm glad we lost!

Image from the game, sad yet happy they lost.
Here is to the future of Milan!
Goodbye Maldini!
