Milan wanted to keep him, he's the one that wanted to go, the moment Milan sold Thiago and Zlatan, Cassano was never the guy that would keep quiet if he's disappointed, and I understand him. Milan shows no ambition, and buying Kaka' as Xif said will only patch up the fans morale, but it won't make the games any less frustrating.
Milan needs a stadium to collect more money, Inter has taken this route. Hopefully we'll take notice! I get the whole cheap spending attitude, but Milan seem to make mistakes even in this regard. Drenthe? Trying to get Kaka' to lower his wage to what? 5Mil as if that's what his contribution is worth (unfortunately) I guess I'll never understand. Why aren't we going for Sahin right now instead of Kaka', he'd take less in wages that's for sure, and Real wouldn't ask too much for him. Why didn't we ask for Sakho or even Alex as counterpart of TS deal. Why Pazzini? Why haven't they kept Aquilani he was really cheap, and at least this guy has some creativity (I actually like the player a lot, I know he's not world class but he's better than Prince in the final pass definitely, and also has a great long range shot)
I was really, really surprised that we haven't gone for Sneijder to be honest amd why haven't we then at least go for VDV when we sold Kaka' we had an option for all the players from Real on the cheap. We got Huntelaar and never given the guy a chance!! I remember, I watched every game that season, you need to work for Hunt, you need to setup the team a bit different, no, he'd come in for the last 9 mins. And even then he still scored some goals. Džeko was begging us to buy him a year before city. They went for Zlatan even though they knew that they can't keep him for long. A lot of mistakes by Milan in the last 5 years. Not to talk about keeping too many too old players on the tab a couple of years back. I mean we had a whole team of players that where completely useless IN THEIR LAST couple of years in Milan, yet they all still had salaries like they where dragging Milan to the CL final. In the meantime Milan has played with mediocre teams relying on one really good player to drag them somewhere, be that Kaka in his day or Ibra. And then comes Allegri thinking I'll reshuffle Milan and let's Pirlo walk out the door, the only man that was able to make something out of litteraly nothing! Thank you! I'm glad he showed it up their noses with Juve this year, and even with Italy.
To me it seems, too much wrong decisions have been taken. I think only Arsenal fans must be more pissed than us. :P
