Man Ure won't do anything this year but crumble under the weight of their venture capitalist exec board's greed.

half the team's injured, keane doesn't seem to want to stay, and they must be playing at least 458 games this year so i'd bet against them winning anything but the premiership.

i don't watch serie a so i can't comment upon any team except what i saw in the champions league last year.

Well I think the clubs to look out for would be Milan (with Bierhoff and Shevchenko) and Arsenal (with Davor and Bergkamp). Fiorentina might have a bit of a chance too especially with Batistuta and Mijatovic joining them would definitely help out.

Well all right then Ramuel! Guess they might as well not play the season then huh?

And by the way, Zewl, just wanted to let you know about that "lucky" claim you made. AC Milan hit the post in Serie A play 19 times last season. Most in the league, one more than Roma's 18. Doesn't sound like GOOD luck to me!

Let's put this talk about Roy Keane potentially leaving United in perspective.

If Roy Keane stays: United will maintain it's
treble winning nucleus and win the World Club Championship.

If Roy Keane leaves: United will sell him
for alot of money and buy Rivaldo and win
the World Club Championship.

I see the Keane situation as win win for
the Red Devils. In any case we should get
an answer from Keane's solicitor on Friday.

If Rivaldo is too expensive, then look for
United to quickly go after Clarence Seedorf.

The bottom line is that Manchester United aren't the richest or most talented football
club in the world. But the are the best football club in the world, because they have
world class coaching and excellent team chemistry. There are alot of nay sayers out there, but at the end of the day one can't argue with results.

Man Ramuel... You sure know how to hit a guy in the stomach... So do you think they outta just end the Serie A today and award a winner, or think they might was well play the remaining 297 matches?

Ramuel, how can you say that Milan sucks based on a 2-2 score? If they lost to them, say, 14-0, then you have a justifiable claim. The reality of that is, it just won't happen. Their side is just too damn strong.

Also, Ric, I'm glad to see that you live under the Chris Berman addage, "That's why they play the games." Besides, it's just talk. (B.T.W. I'm a Milan fan, also. Long live the Athletic Club.)

Chris Bermann, hey? Now there's a name I think our friends from Europe will not know.
"It's back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back.....hehehe....Go Milan!!

Well... it was just a friendly, so I wasn't as concerned over the outcome of this match as I am on the upcoming Serie A and Champions League matches. It seems Milan have not hit it's form yet.
