Adboards & Stadium names - help

Hi everyone. I'm trying to find a way to replace the adboards and banners in Fifa 12. Last year I came late to the party and used CM 11, but now there's probably a faster way to do that without having to wait for the new Cm... I know people did this way before CM came around, so what I'm asking is how would you edit the adboards... I am sorry to say I'm a complete n00b in editing fifa so sorry about that... I really just want to edit the adboards, it's probably not that big deal.

Also I have a list of all the stadium names in fifa, how would I do to replace the default names with the new ones? Again, last year this was done with CM, but there's probably an easier way...

Any help is really really really appreciated! Sorry if I broke some forum rule with this

adboards you must use texture editor 12 to import the image over an existing adboard image & then use dbm11 to assign it to a team.

you can name the stadiums in dbm11 under stadiumassignments table.
you need the teams id & then name the stadium.

a good patch for you to make is all the teams in fifa who dont have a stadium in game, name them & share the table w/ the community.

nice & easy first patch for you to take on.

OK I will try. By the way when replacing the adboards do I have to replace them for all the teams or do they get replaced for an entire league like in CM?

OK I managed to do the adboards part with success, but the stadium names are hard... I can't even open the database... I tried extracting it with the texture editor but it didn't work and I corrupted the whole thing. So until dbm 12 comes out no stadium names

I managed to open the database this time and import all the stadium names from last year's list. But then I saved the db and when I opened fifa it always stopped working. Maybe I'm extracting the db wrong? I extracted one version from data0.big and the other from another .big I can't remember.

i created a patch for all the stadium names in the mods forum.

I can do it no problem with the demo. Do i need to wait until a new regenerator tool is released?

I've already made 200+ new custom adboards for fifa 12, i'm just hesitant to bother carrying on until i can actually test them in the full game, lol.

you need dbm11 & texture editor 12.

dbm11 to edit the adboard id of the league you want to change the adboard for.

you will see the adboard column in teams table.

use texture editor to extract the adboard file you want to replace & then drag the adboard you want into that file & regenerate the bh files.

Thanks regularcat, i have tried dbm11, but when i try to export database file from .big file, it crashes with unhandled exception on W7 x64.

Am i doing something wrong?

I noticed that Barcleys PL and Ligue 1 are the same Adboard.

I can't believe it.. This was the last thing i needed, trying to make different Adboards for each Major Ligue.

So can you assign them with dbm11?
If so how?

Are you using a different tool?

I am talking about......... adboard_1_0.rx3........ this rx3 file has adboard for Ligue 1, Barclays PL, BundesLIGA league.

So far that i know. There might be more leagues that have this same adboard rx3 file.

This i know, because i changed the adboard in that file and all these leagues where affected by it.

I hope there is a way to change that problem, so i can have different adboards for each league.

You know Serie A.......La Liga.....Barclays PL......BundesLIGA......Ligue 1.......and so on..

The adboard you are referencing adboard_1_0.rx3 is used by ALL friendly games and all Tournament games. It is also used by the Korean K-League and US MLS.

To have different adboards for each league, you could download the adboards that i have made in my adboard thread. They will only be seen in a career mode though.
