Adding Stadiums

Hey everyone,

I know its early days but is there any indication that it will be possible to add new stadiums to the game?

As we know some superb, next gen quality stadiums were made for FIFA 10 and it would be fantastic if they could be converted for use in FIFA 11.

Obviously it will be a while before this is possible but it would be interesting to get some feedback as I havent been able to find much information on the stadium files of FIFA 11.

Hi Carrick good to see you again mate, i hope that adding things to this whole new game can be possible, i remember the old fifa 2001 and fifa 2002 days where adding stadiums were almost impossible.

Is it me or is there a lack of stadiums in Fifa 11?
Almost all my Bundesliga games(home and away) have been played in Century Park or whatever with the exceptions of HSV, Bayern and Dortmund

Bay Arena
AWD-Arena
Commerzbank-Arena

Estadio da Luz
Estadio do Bessa
Estadio do Dragão
Estadio José Alvalade

Home Depot Center

Constant Vanden Stock

White Hart Lane

Millennium Stadium

Stade Felix Bollaert (I really loved this one!)

For me this is really a shame because playgrounds are a big part of the atmosphere in football.

For me this is really a shame because playgrounds are a big part of the atmosphere in football.

Are you sure these are completely removed, or just partially? Remember in FIFA 09 how the Santiago Bernabeu was "removed"? We just had to add it to the database, all textures and models were in the game files.

Well i´ve just seen the stadium list for fifa 09 and most of this playgrounds were there even for the xbox and ps3 versions of the game, maybe you´re right Tizmo, maybe the files are still there, i hoping that´s the case because playing in generic playgrounds no matter what they look like can be boring and impersonal.

Yeah no wonder, 3 stadiums removed were from Germany.
I'm just hoping stadium modding will be easy

Yes, they seem to have removed a lot of stadiums and replaced them with ones I've never heard of, but that look somewhat like real ones.

whats with the texture-sizes? i think they are smaller the then pc-version textures... maybe it would look awfull...dont know .

I have all the required menu and ingame files but i don't know how to get them to work.

I've already done that. None of them work unfortunately.

Thats to say the database strings are exactly the same, but the files are different and they crash ingame.

I think its the compression.

BTW, does anyone have EURO2008 for XBOX360? I'd like to have a look at the NG stadium files for EURO2008 host stadiums.
