I'm just completely confused as to the addition/subtraction thing that happens each year.
If EA truly, truly work on feedback (which Matt assures us they do but then I'm not convinced that Matt isn't a secret EA staff member in charge of propaganda), why do EA keep taking stuff out of the games each year when nobody asks for it to be removed.
To my knowledge, over the past few years nobody has said the following:
1 - Please take away my ability to header the ball when my player is by himself. I mean seriously, whoever plays a flick-on header for a quick offensive advantage or a clearance header in real life? (FIFA 2003)
2 - Please take away the creation center, I hate having the ability to create my own players and teams. (FIFA 2003)
3- Please take away the different weather, I like to play in Florida where every day is a perfect 72 degrees and sunny! (FIFA 2004)
4 - This direct IP matchup and LAN play thing is crap. I'd rather pay to play online than be able to play against my friends for free. (FIFA 2004)
5 - Replays? Who wants to see freaking replays and save that crap? (FIFA 2004)
6 - Controller configuration? Pah! I'd rather be forced to go and buy a new controller or use the keyboard. (FIFA 2004)
7 - World Cup? Poxy little tournament that nobody gives a crap about, take it out. (FIFA 2003/FIFA 2004)
If any hardcore ("FIFA rockz", "FIFA rulez") fans on here can just explain this rather than reverting to a FIFA v PES argument or using every expletive they can think of while suggesting that free speech is only for pro-FIFA fans then please go ahead. Asking a company to add stuff is one thing that they may or may not be able to deliver but why on this earth would you take out stuff when it already works, everybody likes and people (including your own fans) complain about when you take it away?
