As Heaven's press secretary, I wish to dispel any notion that the Lord has made such comments. God's remarks have been taken completely out of context by some members of the media. The Almighty merely meant to express his admiration for Adebayor. He did not at any point try to suggest that Adebayor was, is, or could ever be better than Maradona. Any such claim is merely a fabrication by the radical leftist elements of the internet media. Nothing could be further from the truth.

I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have, as long as they're not about God's seemingly contradictory nature in being simultaneously omnipotent, omniscient and benevolent. We are not prepared to issue a statement on that. Security reasons. We fear the universe may implode.
