Damn, I just heard that Stam will be out for some weeks again, with the same hamstring injury. I think that means end of the season for him. :(

Seeing how important he was for us again today and also taking into account that Edje is suspended, it's gonna be very difficult in Alkmaar I'm afraid.

i agree with that, i think they've to do 2 things, score 1 important away goal, and don't let them score (to much).

Yeah I'm good thanks :) Exciting weeks ahead of us let's hope we can keep the score decent in Alkmaar and win good at the Arena. We'll see

i thought that we got him on transfer free, coz his contract at twente ended after this season. on ajax.nl also nothing is said about 1 million, but yeah i found on ajaxlive.nl that we paid that million. still, this is a good deal. 1 million in todays football is just a tip

His contract with Twente ended in 2008.
Still 1 million is pretty much nothing in modern days football.

AJAX WANTS ANOTHER ROMANIAN PLAYER!

They are gunning for Marius Constantin from Rapid Bucarest as a replacement for Grygera. He has a reputation as a cardmagnet, receives many cards :o
He can play rightback, leftback and center it seems.
Any Romanian here knows who he is and if he's any good??

That's why I want to know more about this Constantin if he's any good or not but what I do know is that the Ajax-scouts are good in what they do so I trust they know what they're doing..

TOMORROW AZ AWAY without Stam, Davids and Gabri gonna be very hard but hopefully we can keep the score low in Alkmaar.

EDIT:

It seems it's not only Wes we're going to lose but Klaas-Jan as well, according to Tutto Sport in Italy he is close to a transfer to Juventus for 18m WTF I think they should pay double price for him!
Damn this is not looking good, Wes, Klaas-Jan :( the only good thing is that it means money in the bank for new players but try to replace KJH I really don't know who??? Alves??

OK we lost with 2-1 in Alkmaar against AZ but this awaygoal could proven to be very important!
Only 1 goal difference and they scorded in the 90' minute (Arveladze who else). I think we can do it next week in Amsterdam, we have to finish them off and that's what we're going to do COME ON AJAX!
Wes scored a beauty, pure individual CLASS man we're going to miss him so very much :(
He won't play next week (suspension, yellow in 93 minute) so this could wel have been his last game for us :$ and URBY IS INJURED :boohoo:

But we can do it at home, like we've beaten Heerenveen, surprise them but without Wes it's not going to be easy.
Good thing is that Edje will be back and finally Gabri returns (about time) (H)

Shame we couldn't hold on to that 1-1 draw. That would've been a marvelous result. Still I think there's a fair chance we will make it, although we will miss Wes terribly next week. Atleast he scored a beautiful away goal.

The injury is not very severe, it looks like he's going to make the last game against AZ (Y)
Good cause we need him even though the first AZ goal today was because he made a huge mistake in defense.

oh, that's not what I meant, Ajax can deal with Sneijder's transfer too. But Alex, Cocu and other leaving players left at a glorious moment.

He hasn't. But due to his phenomenal performances throughout this season, there is a logical general feeling that he is about to move to one of the big leagues this summer.
