So you are an Amsterdammer...That means I was right from the start. If you are born in Amsterdam you are a Noord-Hollander. No matter where you live. It's bad enough those parasites from Holland, both Noord and Zuid go to other areas of our country

Cody you're really going to far now, you're talking as if we're a seperate country. I don't feel like that at all, I'm Amsterdammer not Noord-Hollander nor Hollander. I don't wanna be related with people from places like Krommenie or something.

But this has gone totally of track. This is the AFC Ajax thread let's keep it to that please.

guys, just chill the fvck out for god's sake. We all saw what happened to Cody's PSV thread due to ignorant pointless arguments, let's not ruin this thread as well.

Silencer, I know you're a hardcore Ajax fan, true Ajacied at heart, and you have a lot of pride for this club and Amsterdam. But sometimes you do just a little too much trashtalking and you get a little offensive out of your Ajax pride. I mean, honestly you started this off by saying fvck Kobenhaven and stuff like that. Winning and losing happens all the time in football, but we have to be good losers and have class no matter how much pride we have for our clubs. Look at Turkey when they lost to the Swiss in the WC playoffs, their coach started **** and players started fighting, they looked like pathetic sore losers and embarrassed themselves to the world, nobody on this board liked them, so let's not be like that. In the end tho, I have immense respect for you mate, you're a die-hard Ajax fan that loves the club as much as any fan I've ever known and you know a lot about the team and football in general, but being a little more friendlier to outsiders wouldn't hurt.

Dragan is accustomed to being treated with respect and he is a hard-nosed Croat so of course he has a lot of pride too and he immediately jumps into defending Denmark and its CL representative, which is understandable. You two went hard at it and both got into insulting comments, but you've settled nothing in the end. This is like war in our world, fighting doesn't generate any good results. We've simply made the Ajax thread a boring ugly thread rather than a thread that should be dedicated to proper discussion and information about the glorious club of Ajax Amsterdam.

Cody is a PSV fan so of course he'd jump in every now and then and rub sh1t in, that's what rivalry is for, right? I mean, we do the same to them too. So let hiim be, we'll laugh at him when we beat them in the league this season. Just keep it a classy rivalry, let's not get into anything too offensive and pathetic.

That's just my input, having seen the thread grow by 2 pages in one day just because we had rotten luck and lost a game we shouldn't have lost and all the pride crashing following it. Life is full of sh1t, but it's better to be optimistic, and friends are better than enemies. So let's stop the pointless insults that are only angering ourselves and our co-posters.

Well spoken obviously you don't know the F-Side or what we stand for, yes we are proud to be Ajacied that's for sure and yes I was really really really pissed about the game that's also true and maybe I offended some ppl I shouldn't have but that's all water under the bridge now let's continue this thread with the subject it stands for A J A X!

Today was the draw for the UEFA Cup and we play against I.K. Start from Norway, never heard of them, never seen them play so I don't have the faintest how good/bad they are but Ten Cate is not unhappy with the draw and neither are the newspapers and the internetsites so I guess we should manage it but after the game vs Kopenhagen I'm very cautious at the moment and it's a Scandinavian team again and we all know how we play vs Ccand. clubs . Let's just first see how we play against NAC this sunday to see if the team has managed to clear their heads and continue.

Vermaelen says in a Belgian newspapers that he is not feeling guilty about the loss and the players are not holding anything against him and neither do the fans and he is right about that cause I don't. He defended well and he was very unlucky with one bad move but the team is to blame not one man.
It's like HtC said on the pressconference yesterday:"you win together and you lose together".

The pressconference was kinda funny though, seeing the very surprised HtC that so many reporters were there to talk to him since he said everything he wanted to say on the day of the match. He couldn't believe his eyes, said that he never experienced this in his career of coaching. Ajax wants to continue as we started this season, the same way and not change a thing.
Continue on the patch cause we were doing really well before the match vs FCK. I only hope that this won't leave any marks or scars in their minds.

Again Babel has been mentioned by HSV what's the deal with that?? :o
It seems that Beiersdorfer was in Amsterdam for Babel and not for Urby and John because they bought Mathijsen now.
I say hands off our Ryan, we need him this season and if he goes then better pay 10mil. I bet Perez will be happy if he leaves and so will Markus and Mitea.
I've read in an interview that Perez is not happy at the moment and he is asking questions like:"why did Ajax buy me if I'm benched all the time". Can't blame him really but it seems that HtC told him to be patient cause he never plays with the same 11 :o that was a surprise to me btw.

I'd like to cool our war of words too (taken that directly from FM mindgame comments) and I'd like to apologise for co-making this thread a mess for the last few pages.

Start should be easy, they are certainly no FC Kobenhavn, they are only midtable in Norway. Although they can get a surprise result, Scandinavian teams can be tough for Dutch teams with their physical play. Ajax lost 2 times to Kobenhavn in recent history and a year or 2 ago Feyenoord got knocked out by Odd Grenland I think.

nicely said 'cool war of words'
Yeah that's the only thing worrying me is that it's again a Scandinavian team :o I don't think we will make the same mistake as we did against FCK but I don't know the team at all to be honest. I asked Alex my Swedish friend who is mod and kitmaker on the F06 forumsection if he knows anything about them.

As for PSV voting against Liverpool and Gala offff that's not going to be easy but I wish them all the luck for the sake of Dutch football ;)
Don't underestimate Galatasaray, they call it 'hell' out there and it really is when all the fans scream and cheer during the whole game cause that's what they do. It's a waterfall of noise there.

Now let's focus on NAC, we have to win that one at least to make up for this week

aww that's much better, thank you all for making this thread a better place again. :) Taken directly from Jose Mourinho's halftime talk song, "the world is merrrry..." (8) :p

Anyways, I'm pretty sure we'll get past IF Start. We've just got a wakeup call from Kobenhaven, I believe the players will be in the right mindset for the games against Start. They shouldn't be underestimating the opponent or anything like that after what happened last game.

Sneijder is awesome, scored to great goals. Huntelaar missed the penalty again.

PUT YOUR HANDS TOGETHER FOR WESLEY SNEIJDERRRRRRRRRRRRR :bouncy: :bouncy: :clapwap::clapwap:

OMG what a difficult game against NAC Breda, 0-1 down and at the end we won with 2-1, two incredible goals from Wesley unbelievable 2 games 4 goals for him now :o
Huntelaar missed a penalty!! and no goals for him, won't take long though I'm sure he will score goals soon enough again but two games with no goals is not good for his standards the way he was shaking his head in disbelieve.
Vermaelen injured today, Ogararu played the whole match on the right and he did great, his attacking skills are very good and his crosses too but his defending needs to get better though. I'm sure he will do much better then this, too bad that he received a yellow card today but well..obstruction is obstruction.

The first half was ours, we dominated the pitch again and had chances but missed them all that why the 0-0 at the interval, that has to get better cause that's what is lacking right now, the same against FCK.
The 2nd half was not very good although we dominated most again, Perez was great in the 2nd half absolutely fantastic even and Charisteas for Rosales... I still say we have to keep him for games like this, he is a menace for the defense and constantly dangerous, almost scored a goal again today..

Anyway 3 points for us 2 games 2 wins is a good start, let's hope that the players stay fit after they've played for Holland next weekend.

Interview with Henk ten Cate, we made it difficult for ourselves because we didn't score but we bounced back well after the dissapointment because of the penalty. According to him the loss against Kopenhagen was a big blow for the players and some players are still having difficulties and they didn't reached their normal form. He subbed Charisteas and not Rosenberg because we needed height in the air. Huntelaar has to learn to play in different ways according to HtC, sometimes go to the flanks but he is intelligent enough to pick that up. Emanuelson had the flu but he wanted to be with the team and that speaks for him and he did great when he got on the pitch.

WESLEY SNEIJDER LALALALALA WESLEY SNEIJDER LALALALALA :bob:
I'm going to add him to my sig (Y)

EDIT: psv lost against FC Twente with 1-0 (Blaise 'Nkufo) they looked fragile and out of shape. Told ya psv is not going to be champions this season.
And now they need Kluivert (who is a 100% Ajacied) to help them hahaha hilarious even Cocu and Reiziger called him up to please come to psv but Kluivert is still thinking about it cause it could be seen as treason in Amsterdam and by us as Ajaxfans HELL YEAH what do you think. Go to psv and you can never come back to Ajax again and we all know that his deepest wish is to return to Ajax one day to end his career in Amsterdam. He said this time and time again so I can understand his doubts.
DON'T DO IT PATRICK let them solve their own problems there.

Mika Vayrynen is the next to leave psv, he is going to Celta de Vigo probably :amika: Great influence the new coach has haha.

psv is in problems after the loss today :amika:
Now they want to bring in Kluivert but a new problem has risen cause it seems that Real Madrid wants to bring Alex to Madrid before the end of next week so more problems for the team.
They laughed about us last wednesday now it's our turn and IF Kluivert goes to psv he lost all my respect that's for sure. From then on he will be considered a TRAITOR for the F-Side and not welcome anymore in Amsterdam.
He can forget about ever returning to Ajax and we all know it's his biggest dream so I hope he declines the offer cause he has a few more offers from other clubs. Let them worry about their own problems, Koeman hasn't changed a bit, still the coach with the wrong decisions and arrogant as ever.
He deserves psv and vice versa. Curious to know what's going through Hiddink's head when he hears about the problems. I'm sure he would've kept the team together with his charisma.

Alex will leave i'm sure of that, I don't think he wants to play for Koeman much longer and he will be leaving the sinking ship :amika:
If Cocu is wise he hands in the captains band, he should've quit last season at the top of his career.

I will be following the situation with much interest that's for sure :corn:

TEN CATE WANTS TO KEEP CHARISTEAS IN THE SQUAD! :read:

Well Charisteas impressed HtC yesterday and he changed his mind about him, "If Harry can't find a club before thursday he will be a full member of the selection again" is what he said.
I always said that it would be a damn shame to let him go and I'm happy that Ten Cate shares the same opinion now (Y)
Since he joined us he always worked hard, made some nice goals and he is a menace for the defense and a strong header to boot.
He never complaints when he starts on the bench he's a 100% sportsman.
I think he stays because Harry always said that he loves it here in Amsterdam and to play for us and if it was up to him he wants to stay so I'm not worried and HtC will do anything now to convince him to stay ;)

Ah well Patje will be injured for 9/10th of the season so don't worry about him doing anything good for PSV. It's such a shame he's wasting his talent like that.

Whatever he does I will still have respect for him, he kept the Ajax-legacy alive with his goal in Vienna and made me fall in love with Ajax and football in general.

We should get rid of Charisteas, despite his friendly character he's garbage. He's our fifth striker or something, better get some cash before he walks away free.

BTW we should let somebody else take the PK's. Klaas is Dutch so...

How's Ogararu doing? :)
I haven't heard any news about him lately... except the fact that we hasn't called up to the national team for the game against Bulgaria :-w

I beg to differ, Ogararu did good last weekend against NAC, attacking great, good passes and speed but his defending needs to improve. The way he picked up that yellow card was so unnecessary (:/)

Well it seemed that Brondby IF made Rosenberg an offer and Charisteas too, both were not interested :amika:
Markus says that he is happy with Ajax and definitely is going nowhere, his chance will come soon enough he said.
And Charisteas said that they are not good enough and definitely not an improvement with Ajax. (duuh)
He could be more right then he knows cause RYAN BABEL is talking to HSV :(
I really hope he stays, man that would be a big loss if he left the club :nape:
Ah well tomorrow night the window closes so then the peace will return in footballand thankgod.
