David Endt was on 'Voetbal Insite' tonight and Ajax makes it their first priority to bring Edgar Davids back to Amsterdam and it's looking good according to Derksen :)
Ten Cate is 100% certain, he will be on Voetbal Insite also next week, he will be headcoach and will select his own technical staff but duuuuuuuuh we already knew that didn't we :p

Heard the news about the great Juventus btw?? :rolleyes: I mean OMG they could be relegated and sent to the Serial B in Italy, also there could be a chance that they have to give the Scudetto to AC Milan. Moggi is a criminal if you ask me and the mastermind behind the scheme. This could well be very important for the WC and Italy.
What do you think will happen with players like Zlatan, Trezeguet etc if they have to play for the Serie B?? I don't think they will do that and leave the club asap.
They opened a can of worms now cause many clubs are involved like Fiorentina. Maybe only two teams will play CL next season and it won't be Juve :rolleyes:

hahaha bloody Italians, so corrupt. I hope that happens, kick Juve and them down to Serie B. That way everybody can get some decent players and maybe we can have the son of god back, plus I wanna see some Catalonias and Salernitanas in the Serie A :p

Yeah he did great things for us in the last years so I wish him all the best there but Nurnberg?????????? I think he could've done better..

News today:

Barcelona will send out a pressrelease stating that Ten Cate will be leaving the club. They will tell the media on Saturday.
This sunday Ajax will have a pressconference where he will be presented as our new coach.
It seems that Frank de Boer will become one of his assistents.

Steven Defour rejected an offer from Genk for the same salary as Ajax but it has nothing to do with money alone according to Steven. Ajax is a topclub so a big step up and he can improve his career so he wants to go to Ajax waahahahaha too bad Genk.

According to van Geel it's Ajax first priority to get Edgar Davids back!

Well you have to remember Tomas is already 33 and Nurnberg did finish 8th, so not that bad good choice if you ask me, he'll be one of their key figures.

Oh and I thought Frank was gonna be our youth coach instead of assitent? :confused:

yeah wtf Spijkerman as assistent? I actually hoped he would convince van der Lem and Krol to stay, but apparently he didn't.

You guys just got a quality player today (Y). George Ogararu from Steaua is heading your way for 3.3 million euros after the season is over in Romania. He is a class right back who can go up the flanks and dribble and cross with the best of them. He's got good speed too. I hope he succeeds at Ajax along with Mitea for years to come. He's only 26 years old (Y).

Yep just read it on Ajax network, Ogararu is a good defender indeed and I hope he will settles in just nicely into the team that Ten Cate is building at the moment, good thing that Mitea has been in Amsterdam for a few years so he can talk his language and Mitea can show him around and helps him getting a house etc. if he wants but Ajax always insists on learning foreign players our language ;). Tonight Ten Cate told on tv that he wants Edgar Davids and that Davids is genuinly interested in making a possbile move to Ajax :)
And he said that Landzaat is an option behind Davids, Sneijder and Perez.
Man that would be fantastic since Denny is Ajaxschool :D

We've got our supposed replacement for Trabelsi, George Ogararu is his name he's a Romanian right-back playing for Steaua Bucharest and he's made his debut already in the national team vs Holland.

Never heard of him, anyone know anything about him?

Yeah he is very good, I know he's a star in Romania and Bucharest and my gf (who is Romanian) is pretty happy about it that he is coming to Ajax.
Read what Steaua wrote a few posts back, he seems to know him too ;)

Yeah it looks like Davids is coming back home but I have to see it first if ya know what I mean.
In the meantime I've read that Gabri will announce his farewell tomorrow at a pressconference in Barcelona and the story goes that he will come to Ajax to reunite with Ten Cate. If Gabri comes then I doubt it that Edgar will come back but that remains to be see and we just have to wait won't we.. ;)

didn't you notice that the home kit is different, the red stroke in the middle "loopt door :p", normally it stops at the neck..
i like the new one, btw i hope ogaruru or something is a good player.. :ewan:
