Yeah and he sucks in football as well, when Mauro went passed him he grabbed on to his shirt cause he couldn't win against him and about the headbutt, that should cost him at least one match IMO.

Lee Hendrie is a decent attacking midfielder. He was great for Villa last season I think. He's somewhat like vdv, with great movement and creativity, and he has a great long range shot. He's scored a bunch of goals for Villa from long range and they were beauties.

I wouldn't mind Lee Hendrie joining us. I think he's a decent player and maybe a change of sceneries will bring out his best form.

Good to see Mitea back and in scoring form too, bad thing is that Rosales is injured and it doesn't look good either and the same this goes for Maduro. Man he twisted his ankle in a bad way
I'm watching the pressconference after the game right now and Blind is telling the people that his ankle is thick right now and that Rosales will not play this wednesday for the next game so he needs to puzzle again..

Kalou really sucked today btw, in front of an empty goal he heads the ball but wide The only talent on the pitch is Kuyt but he will probably be leaving after this game, he cried his eyes out after the loss.
the HUNTER scored again but that's no surprise anymore and it was especially good to see Mitea back on the pitch and scoring a nice goal.
Boukhari showed once again why Ajax should hold on to him, a good goal and a very hard worker.

I smell Preround Champions League now, Groningen almost never won in Amsterdam and we are getting stronger each game.
I was hoping for FC Groningen and it's going to be FC Groningen cause AZ did not manage to close the gap after the first game.
What a surprise this will be, Ajax ends in 4th place, AZ is out on 2nd place and I think we have a great chance beating Groningen.
We need to make a few goals to create a difference cause the first game will be in Amsterdam this wednesday!!

Errm, outplaying Bosschaart isnt fantastic. Bosschaart gets outplayed by every other eredivisie player. Even Michael Ball would own him.

God damn, I'm not really sure if I like Groningen to play us. I mean in a way I would've rather played AZ cause they're far more jaded than Groningen. Moreover Groningen is really fired up now. Not so sure yet. But let's all hope, for Dutch football's sake, that they won't make it to the CL.

I think Groningen is a good draw and we will beat them as well, starting with the homegame where we need to create distance cause in Groningen they are very hard to beat this season. If we can score 3 or 4 goals (and the Hunter will at least score once) like we did against 010 than we will go through I'm sure of that!

About Mauro, he is badly injured it seems and won't be playing the rest of the playoffs, Ajax is hoping that he will be fit to play when we play in the finals for the Gatorade Cup against psv on the 7th of may but that's not certain as well. Let's hope he will recover quickly cause he made the difference against 010 by scoring the first goal twice and because the way he is playing at the moment. It's a real shame and I feel very sorry for him

Maduro's anckle was a bit thick this afternoon so they will wait to see what's his condition tomorrow, he twisted his anckle in a bad way though.
I'm pretty sure his WC in Germany is not at stake here.

EDIT: Just heard news about the injuries on Talpa: Mauro will be out for 4 weeks he has a hamstring injury so the season is over for him.

Maduro's anckle is injured but they're not sure what kind, maybe they can get him ready for wednesday just maybe but that's no certainty.
He goes to the hospital tomorrow for a scan, let's hope for the best guys.

So we meet again this season ... Hopefully we can avoid as much damage as possible in Amsterdam, and then finish the job in Euroborg. Our season has been unbelievable and reaching the CL 3rd qualification round would be utterly astounding. We'll see, I'm pretty hopeful Ajax will underestimate us, just like AZ did.

haahaha yes! what a series! After a depressing season our boys finally put on the performances that make us proud Ajax fans once again, and against Feyenoord, how good is that?!

Let's hope we'll continue this form and batter Groningen!

Yup and I'm watching tv right now on Talpa is the Groningen trainer as guest.
He says he will have a problem on wednesday cause all his players are very very tired. They had to go really deep today where Ajax didn't have to work real hard to trash 010 again. Well I have news for you Ron Jans from Groningen, you will not only have a problem because of tired players but because you play against AFC AJAX AMSTERDAM.
If we don't beat them then we have no business in the Champions League it's as simple as that cause Groningen is not more than subtop/midrange.
Ajax is like reborn where they are exhausted, we have players who can go the distance cause the trainings are much harder and in much higher tempo than the trainings in Groningen. We will be the winners I have every faith in that.

Ajax made Boukhari a new offer today because of his consistence play in the last few months, they want to break open his contract.
Congrats Nourdin you deserved it!
I hope he accepts cause he showed how important he can be for the team, a hard worker, take great freekicks, has a great pass and he scores goals, Ajax would be a fool to let him go to another club, especially in Holland.
That is NOT going to happen. Danny Blind was extatic after the game about Boukhari.

I think Blind should deserve the chance to prove himself as a coach with a full healthy team without injuries, suspensions etc. he had to puzzle a lot in the last season. The changing of the positions all the time was not good and I was not happy with that at all but I want to see Blind work with all players but let's get to the CL first shall we
