WTF happened to Ajax? Sneijder has to be their best or one of their best players, why would you even consider letting him go, putting aside the fact that it was only for 20m, and he is worth more than that.
Good for R.Madrid, though, their best signing so far.
I hope you guys manage without him, although now that you're selling your best players, we wouldn't mind having Huntelaar at the Bridge.

It was 27 mil. And come on. More than that they couldnt get anyway. Its just Real Madrid that pays such money (or Chelsea if they really want a player). Valencia wanted him too....they offered 14 mil, and they somehow agreed, till Flores said that he didnt want him anymore lol!!! So Ajax is happy(from a financial side) and Real is happy. win win situation, if Ajax can get a good replacement with all the money they have now. So its not that bad. (well it is, but its 27! mil and they can buy 2 great players with that)

And we all know that FM is usually right...Motta would be great though.

Motta is bij FC Barcelona op een zijspoor belandt en mag weg. Alleen zullen de Amsterdammers zware concurrentie mogen verwachten. Enkele Engelse clubs zouden geintresseerd zijn en AC Milan zou ook Motta volgen.

Anyway would be great, I think it's more realistic that we can get him than Riquelme for example. I don't know about Motta, Barca fans aren't exactly lyrical about him, but perhaps for us he would do good to replace Edje.

Why not consider signing King Recoba? He's in a bit of a limbo right now and would come dirt cheap. Plus, he could be a mentor to that Uruguayan kid you guys have.
Not the greatest of medical histories, of course, but in my opinion, he's a better overall footballer than Riquelme. He's a better natural athlete, equal in dribbling if not better, equal at playmaking and a bit superior in deadball situations, and a far greater striker/scorer.....even with his terrible injury history, he still managed to have a goalscoring rate of once every 180mins in the Serie A......and this is considering the fact that he was being mostly misused in the formation.
No better footballer out there than a King Recoba given consisten play, man

Now on a more serious note Ogararu will be out for 4 weeks because of his Hamstring injury so he's going to miss the start of the competition and both games against Slavia
