I think he's staying, as I understand it Ajax wants to keep him and especially MvB, they rather see him walk away in two seasons and transferfree.
As long as he keeps scoring goals it's fine with them, Aegon pumps in a lot of money every year (about 10m) and we have the largest budget in the league again so it's not about the money they said.
If he leaves so be it but I think he will stay because Zlatan when you were on holidays MvB told the media that Klaas-Jan will not be leaving Ajax and remains for at least one season more, I saw that pressconference on StudioSport when they were at de Lutte.
MvB had a long talk with Klaas-Jan and told him that he's very important for Ajax and not only because he scores goals but because he could be a great leader on the pitch as well and Klaas-Jan told him he's not going anywhere.
So we have have to just wait and see and IF he leaves then the other club has to pay a LOT of money to get him.

gnagnagna Twente just voted ARSENAL in the Uefa CL drawings :rofl:
Well bybye Twente it was short but sweet.
What a waste I knew it from the moment they were through and we weren't this is a disaster for Dutch football :(

Good win against Sunderland today with 1-0 (goal Hunter) (Y)
Sulejmani played his first minutes for us.
MvB started with Cvitanich, Hunter and Suarez in attack and Gabri, Aissati and Lindgren in midfield. Oleguer and Anita??! played defence when Anita is more a midfieldplayer but in the end a win is a win :33vff3o:

Marco still has something to do before we're ready for the season I think. But solid victory in the end, I guess.

Well it's still better than Feyenoord at their own tournament
Got their ass kicked against Borussia and tonight against Celtic with 3-1 it was like taking candy from a baby :D

HSV wants Huntelaar, I thought Klaas-Jan made it pretty clear that he will only leave Ajax for a TOPteam in Europe. With all do respect HSV is no topclub and certainly not bigger than Ajax. I'm sure KJ doesn't want to go to HSV so keep on searching Martin Jol

Yeah HSV must be joking. :D

Tonight the Amsterdam Tournament starts. Even though it's only early season preparation, it's nice to see how far we'd come against the likes of Arsenal and Inter. I'm going to the Inter match tommorrow.

Nice one I'm going to the Arsenalgame tonight :D
MvB will be starting with his 'best 11' he said yesterday including Aissati, Cvitanich and Oleguer as well. I'm very curious to see how they will manage tonight against Arsenal since they are already further with the preseason preparations. I bet Steve Mc Claren will be there tonight as well

Damn lost against Arsenal with 2-3 and we were in front with 2 goals how can you give it away like that!
2 fantastic goals nevertheless from Luis and Klaas-Jan (of course) but the 2nd half was really poor from our side and we were outsmarted by Arsenal with Adebayor and Bendtner as the goalscorers.

Anyways the atmosphere was fantastic in de ArenA and the fanshop was open so I bought myself the new homeshirt and the darkblue away traingssuit (a beauty) from Adidas.
Tomorrow Inter, hopefully we will play better than we did in the 2nd half.
Didn't see much of Sulejmani and Cvitanich yet but the last one came in front of goal a few times so he showed potential.
Anita is a good young talent but no defender but of course Urby and Thomas will be back when the Olympics are over.

I also watched the game..it was a really good match..to bad for Ajax because they lost after a 2 goal advantage but the goals were stunning (Y)
It seems that under Van Basten they would be stronger for the next season :D

I actually didn't see the Arsenal game but I did go to the stadium yesterday to see the Inter match

I was surprised to see Adriano play and actually score. Perhaps I haven't followed Inter that well, but I thought he was unhappy at the club and wanted to leave Inter. Mourinho has given him renewed confidence?
And if it wasn't for Toldo, I think it might've been a draw or maybe even worse for Inter. Atleast he had a few nice saves in the few moments we became dangerous in front of the Inter goal.

Well I was there when we played against Arsenal and the players who really impressed me were Adebayor (what an outstanding player), Denilson, Bendtner, Aaron Ramsey (when he came on) and the 16 year old player (don't know his name) and Walcott of course oh and the goalkeeper against Sevilla Fabianski was amazing! If I were Wenger I would choose him anytime over Almunia.
The Intergame yesterday I watched on tv and I think we played really good at times especially considering the fact that we played with a B-team against the strong Inter. Inter has very good players but the ones who stood out were Javier Zanetti (a joy to see him play), Adriano, Ibra (of course), Cambiasso when he came on and Toldo did good in goal. Pity that Crespo didn't play cause I think he's one of the best strikers around, Sulley Muntari played well and steady. Most valuable player of the tournament was Maxwell (Y)

One of the best players at the tournament plays for Sevilla IMO, Chevanton deserved more against Arsenal, Sevilla played a fantastic game against Arsenal, their captain is fantastic, Diego Capel is a great player, Romaric they played some fantastic football against the Arsenal.
Arsenal was the deserved winner in the end don't get me wrong but Sevilla deserved more.

appreciate your thorough analysis of the two games, bros....good stuff.

Zlatan, regarding your query about Adriano. Yeah, he's had some serious off-the-field issues since the untimely passing of his pops. The poor bastard had a psychological melt down it seems and it was manifesting itself in excessive partying and other detrimental conduct in practice and in the locker room. We were very close to getting rid of him, but fortunately, we decided to loan him out to São Paulo for a change of scenery in the second half of the season last year and he had a tremendous time there scoring loads of goals, and most of all, keeping his sh!t straight off the pitch.

He's on a short leash right now both with the coach and Massimo...even on a curfew if I'm not mistaken. As much as I don't like the aesthetics of Jose's coaching style, the dude is one of the best when it comes to managing his players and asserting his influence over his locker room. We've long been regarded as a Country Club sort of team where the coach and the managing staff above him don't have as much control as other staffs because of our meddlesome (he means well) owner and how the players are allowed to run amok, but a dude like Jose wont stand for any of that sort of sh!t, that I'm sure of.....that's his best asset imo....ability to handle larger than life egos and put them in their proper place.

On the bright side of things, we finally got rid of Jurgen Colin. He's off to Sporting Gijon. Thank god.

According to Danny Blind it's nothing more but rumours about Huntelaar, he didn't had any contact with Real nor did he receive a bid but it seems ManUtd wants to outsmart Real and will offer more money. Ferguson has his mind set on bringing Klaas-Jan to Old Trafford. Personally I think it's wiser to stay with Ajax for one more season and then make a transfer to Manchester. Next week the transferwindow is going to close so we will just have to wait and see.

And Jurgen Colin?? put a big ribbon around him and ship him off bye bye

Well what do you guys think, Ajax is bringing Evander Sno back to Amsterdam from Celtic, signing nr 5 for MvB. (Contract till 2011)

I don't know. I guess it's a good signing, although I think we have enough midfielders already. But I thought he could play left back aswell. Anyway he can do a bit of everything, so yeah an okay signing to strenghten the squad.
