after playing FIFA2003 demo, i think.........

after playing FIFA2003 demo, i have something to said.......

1. the "traditional" improvement in graphics by EA, the player's kits, faces, stadiums, sideline........all great, well done......

2. the changes of gameplay, totally different with previous version of FIFA series, feel better and playable, at least feel more realistic than previous series.....

3. bad ever FIFA demo, the demo make us, FIFA gamers a big worried if the game graphics problem no solves(rainbow color, no number.......). In the past, the good point of FIFA game was can play on a low-end computer(of course not too low), is user friendly......if FIFA2003 need so high end graphic card and computer to run, are we going to spend the money to upgrade our computer component to suit the FIFA2003? i won't, but i believe EA will understand this, just hope this problem won't happen when the game publish.........

4. the in-game player's move was a bit strange, personally i feel the running pose was strange, not like running, a bit like robot......and easy to see, the dribling was Gigg's motion, Giggsy every way.....

5. the power bar speed a bit too fast, just a smooth tab on lob, then ball was out, the shooting as well.....i was realise that my shooting always wide from goal post event i shoot straight toward keeper, is it everybody same to me,easy to shoot wide?

6. the new AI system quite interesting, great work by EA, this is more realistic when a CPU team make strategy changes and substitute while they trailing 1-0......this is great......

maybe we will find out more problems when the game publish, well, so far, i'm still thinking it's maybe the best ever FIFAseries(past i prefer FIFA99, 2nd is WC2002), just hope EA can be solves and take concern on FIFA gamer's feedback, we need a real football game, not robot football.........

yup steven , even i felt the power bar was a little too fast but i think it has added more realism like in the prevoius versions it was easy to score if we come near the penalty box but now even if we come in the penalty box . there are 50 % chances that the shot will go wide becos of more power and less accuracy .....

btw, happy b'day steven !

I found the new strategic AI pretty disappointing! Actually I didn't see this great difference between the computer attacking or defending. If I didn't know it was implemented, I wouldn't say it was there. What I noticed is that the computer can play very well one match, and lousy the next. This is a great feature, showing that anybody can have a bad day at the office!
;) As for the strategic substitutions, I havn't seen the computer make any subs of whatever kind! That's pretty bad! I expected it to change formation and make subs in order to better suit its tactic, eg if it's down 1-0, it should substitute a defender with an attacker. Probably (I hope so) it's only the demo without the subs, but still, it leaves me worried.

Does the game have players which mainly use their left foot or right foot?

Ie Ryan Giggs will use mostly his left foot for things like crossing and shooting and not switch suddenly to his right foot.

Thats what I hated the most in the previous FIFAs, every player seeming to be able to switch to either foot at any time. Very unrealistic for me.

about the substitute, i think i change something in ini.big setting, so that every time i'm leading Arsenal 3-0, Arsenal will change their strategy and make substitute (Silva on for Pires), but i forgot what i change.......let me check.......

i dunno whether Giggs was using left foot or not in the game, bcoz i can only play Real Madrid and Arsenal in demo, but what i play when Roberto Carlos was taking the free kick with his left foot, and run before kicking, which looks real Carlos style....
