After playing the Xbox version for some time now...

After playing the Xbox version for some time now I can tell you that this game is truly enjoyable and realistic. I have never enjoyed a FIFA game so much, and playing against my bro is just electrifying!

Goals feel earned for once and I think EA are definitely going places as long as they keep on building on from here and don't start all over again (which would be very questionable).

I wonder who else is still finding this game fun?

Last year, the easy A.I and too many gameplay-distracting bugs made FIFA 2003 very poor. But FIFA 2004 seems muuuuch more solid and better re-creation of the best sport there is. :)

yeh i totally agree.

love it how keepers go one direction then change if the ball is curling.

one prob tho dunno if its just my game, in some highlights there are graphic cock ups.

e.g. i scored a free kick, in the reply only the keeper was present?

(xbox version) any1 else had this?

Nick, everytime you comment on how good the game is you always mention playing against your brother. I think the single-player is what matters, the CPU ai and other things.
If you played single player as much as you do against your brother I'm sure your opinion on the game will change.

You say that you very much enjoy playing against your brother, and I don´t doubt that for a second.

But for someone like me who doesn´t really fancy the on-line games...are the AI a bit more complex and varied in the final game (compared to the demo)?

Come on, you're the referee here, show the yellow cards and the red ones too.
The word PES is not the worst ,when there is a true discussion.
You should act against insults, vulgarity and post boosting from some of the PES "fans" otherwise this board will be a joke.
Thanx
