My motherboard supports up to agp 4x, does this mean i cant use a any of the current graphic cards supporting agp 8x like the Gforce FX series ones?

yep. u can use the AGP 8x cards (both the FX and Radeon series)


the 8x cards are downwards compatible. U will have no problems whatsoever.

the loss in performace compared to using the same card on an 8X motherboard is 2-5 FPS at the max... so theres virtually no loss in performance.

(im using a 8x 9800 pro on my 4X motherboard.)
