There's a button that you press to make them do a run. I don't know what button it is on keyboard cuz I use a gamepad.

no names and numbers on the back of the jerseys.
i have a graph card that is listed as "supported" in the readme and i have tried both "latest" and "latest stable" drivers for the graphics card.

EA never oficially told that a TnL compatible card is required. In the readme threre are many cards that do not support hardware TnL listed as "supported" or "recommended". So the "no names and numbers" problem should really be accepted to be a serious bug and it should¨be fixed by a official patch.

CUT AND PASTE FROM MY THREAD:

I'm 90% happy with FIFA2k3 but there are just silly things that EA have either left out or mucked up.

1) I want a different button for Headers and Keeper Charge. They should NOT be the same one. (don't say config your controller because you CAN NOT seperate them. If you move one you move both).

2) Where's the power in my headers?

3) When i played against Man City Wright-Philips was listed in the line up as a defender and i myself had a defender out and didn't make a change before the next match and sure enough a forward was put in defense even though i have about 4 other defenders. Also, Schmikes hair was brown. Brown?

4) Not that it matters much, but, i'd like to see the sub cut scenes again.

5) Why does McCoist think every save is great because the "Keeper was in a bad position" etc etc.

I think other than all of that... i've very pleased with the game and the direction that EA is taking with the FIFA series. Now, if they could ever top RTWC that would be brilliant!

I liked the "on the fly" formation changes that we had with FIFA 98 and 99. Where did that go? It was cool. Change from a 4-4-2 to a 4-3-3 by pressing one button during the match...and you could try the offsides trap.

I'd like to see those back in the game.

yes! by pressing the spacebar we were able to easily switch between defensive-neutral-offensive formation. I missed this feature in FIFA 2002 and I miss it again in FIFA 2003. Now I can't remember, was this feature included in FIFA 2001???

its not bloody hard to stop the game and change formations your just lazy! geez the game is 96 % perfect it just has a few flaws particularly headers , names and numbers

i have the transperant problem in the kits .its ther in the front , back and the shorts ....i also had this problem in the demo ...i have nvidia geforce 2 mx 200/100 (64 mb) ....pls help me ....

Yeah, that muct be it, i'm lazy.

It was a feature. A good feature. Stopping to change formations after click click click is just lame and it takes away from the game. It's SOOOOOO much better on the fly. I can't believe someone would disagree with that.

. You didn't get the point of the problem. I have already explained it twice or three times here, I don't have problem to explain it again.

There is one big and main reason why it is necessary to find a way how to save all the required info (player jersey #, boot type, nationality, captaincy, starter/subst/reserve status, posotion, team tactics, formations, free kick, corner kick and spot kick takers,...) into the package and to find a way how to import it to the game: We need to spread our packages through the internet. I want to release a whole new league patch (16 teams at least) as I do every year since 1999. Of course it is not problem for me to adjust the formations and other things directly in the game, but why should everyone who downloads the league package (last year the Czech league patch had more than 10,000 downloads) do the same work for himself? It would be logical and easier if I could set everything and adjust the formations, and then save all the data to the package. Then everyone who downloads this COMPLETE packge could just install it with one click of mouse.

So tell me again, why do you think that we are lazy?

I have just bought new car! It is 96 % perfect it just has a few flaws - it has no wheels, no engine and no steering wheel. But the design and paintwork of the car is excellent Can you call such car being "perfect"? I can't.

I have a non brand game pad....a generic one....so it doesn't appear in this list....how do I know what controller is my computer using!?!??!?!

BUG?

I don't know if this is a bug , but at corner kicks once I have taken the corner I have to press the change player button a few time to get the player I want highlighted. The same when you try to get your forward highlighted to tackle a defender just after there keeper has flung the ball to him. when I hit the change player button , it goes through the whole team from defenders midfield before it gets to the player your trying to highlight. By the time you get him under control it's usually to late as with the corner kicks.

Something very strange happened to me few days ago. In custom cup, first leg, I was playing with France vs Norway and the final score was France : Noway 0:1, Norway : France 1:2. I scored the second goal in the last minute of game, the game finished, my players were celebrating "the next round of the tournament" and then instead of next match screen there was the screen telling me that my team was eliminated.
I still don't get it why, how and WTF?!?!

I played the match again on amateur level, scored quickly twice, then socred an auto to get the same result and again i was out of the cup.
?!?!

The defense AI kinda sux! My outside backers refuse to converge on the ball if it in the center of the pitch!! Even when theres no one on the outside!! THis has to be fixed as well as the keeper charge button is the same as header, ohh yea and u cant header when your by yourself(how the hell did the testers miss this one? )
